  1. well... even when the 2004s were selling like buckets of sand in the SAhars he said it's a permanenet addition to the Pontiac lineup But hey, 2 weeks ago all knowladge of the existance of ANY project/concept car/product plan for the Camaro was denied like Monica's soiled blue dress. If everyone was this skeptical in the early 1990s the 5th gen Corvette wouldn have never even happened. The Camaro is a car that will be put inot production. Before I saw the concept I was very optimistic for a production car but not holding my breath, at this point I'd almost bet my life on it!
  2. I'm sick of this negativity.... fut the nuck shup! Damn-it the Solstice, Corvette/Z06, STS-V and CTS-V have all translated to production with amazing results. I'm sick of the bitchin. I've been saying since 1998 that GM needs to go a retro-1st gen Camaro ASAP, now after all you collective negativity, a 4 year "hiatus" and all the otehr negatie bull$h! hurting GM the last thing we need is this "not all that it's cracked up to be" stuff. I wanted '69 style wheel arches/sped lines. Gm did not put ther there... so waht bif effin deal.... I'm not goint to cry about it. This car represents a turning point for GM. The return to Pony cars and affordbale RWD 4 passnger cars, and as perhaps more importainlty AMAZING styling the likes of which we have not seen since Mitchell & Earl have led GM design. Plus it's a hardtop!!! WE have not have a hardtop from GM or any otehr American car manufacturer since 1975ish. Damn it the lack of a B-pillar alone makes it worth buying. I can not beleive we're hearing complaints about this car. Jeezus. Go buy a Camry and join the Toyota club of America.
  3. Even if this was not the Camaro concept I'd say it is an AMZING interior. I love the gauges especially. Retro buit very modern. I love everything about the dash.... the backlightsing is ever-so remeniscent of my '68s. I can NOT understand why anyone woudl have complaints abotu the gauges & dash???? Is this not the nicest and most 3D dash since the Pre-Nader era?
  4. EVOK: With all due respect you skeptics really get obnoxious sometimes. Do you really believe thios car will not go into production??? C'mon!!!! and besides Luts has said about 20,000 times: GTO is here to stay as the performance flaship for Pontiac.
  5. Bobo: I can understand your love for the Lexus IS300 but to say the Ridgeline is worty of existance nevermind ownership is preplexing to me. That Bugatti is the 3rd coolest concept in the world right now. Right behind the Sixteen and Camaro.
  6. We found our stray cat Puma on leap year day. (Feb. 29th 2004)
  7. I dont' care if ti has to be postponed untill 2011.... if Cadillac does not make this car however... (with a V16) then they're loosing out bigtime. This is the ultimate image car. I can not think of a better concept car to ever be released by a luxury car manufacturer. It's bold, in your face, extreeme to the point of ridicilous and says F-U to political correctness. A Cadillac Viper if you will. If produced this would be the greatest flagship in the world. Maybachs would be humbled, Bentleys would be ridiculed and the Quadroporte would look like a non-SC Park Ave in comparison.
  8. Man that would be sweet. I don't want Toyota to go bankrupt... they can have 0.49% fo the NA car market.... that's alright by me.
  9. I hope THIS is the next thign for caddy!
  10. All things are cyclical..... Does this mean GM will soon merge with BMW and build an Impala SS & Bonneville off the old BMW 5-series chassis?
  11. News Flash: Lexus introduces amazing new "Enclave" SUV.
  12. Twenty6 Neon: my gues is 52
  13. Variance: That's awsome. "Drive off a cliff" would work too. Here's my first two sigs. including the '06 Concept Camaro: Welcome back Camaro, we've all missed you! (have you been working out?) and my new one: If this is how GM does retro then we need more RETRO from GM.
  14. yes. plus compared to the Camaro concept this looks like a pile of steaming dog pooo.
  15. I love GM like a family member... Always have. I want them to thrive and prosper and make Toyota crawl back inot the depths from which it came. SO natruyally I want to give them a new car sale... I've owned more than a dozen GM products even though I'm only 26 but all of them were bought used. But by god I'll but this new Camaro even if I have to eat Mac&Cheese for a decade. If the production car is a true reflection of this concept I'll get into a knife fight just to put a depoist down. A (pillarless) hardtop and rwd is enough for me to buy it... nevermind the awsome loks and the performance this car will bring to the table. Rememer GM, the important things are as follows: HARDTOP RWD FULLY MANUAL TRANS option KEEP THE STYLING for the production model Thank You!
  16. Overall: B- (too much rebadge, not enough unique sheetmetal) Spoiler: B+ Side scoops on front fender: C Hood: A+ Headlights: B Lower air damn: F I think they ruined the Camaro with the 2nd gen... but I think Firebird hit it's climax of coolness 70.5-72. It needs a more pronounced Grille for starters. Nice chop though.
  17. Toni: I knew you were just kidding. I was just playing along. After all the sarcasm was knee deep in your post. :P
  18. I'd buy it if it was called Geo Metro as long as it's true to the concept. This really is the nicest concept of all time... hotter than a McLaren F1, sleeker than a $5,000,000 Hemi'Cuda' and beefier than a '70 CHevelle LS6. This ties with the SIXTEEN for all out coolest concept ever. NO joke. Laught if you will but that's my honest to goodness opinion.
  19. Well... I'm a cheap prick who buys an old car every so often and beats the hell out of it and then sells it to buy another cheap car once bored... but I WILL but a brand New Camaro.... even if it has to be a V6, as soon as it hits the streets. If a V8 is in the 26K range somewhere I'll be buying it fo' sho', even if it depreciates $25,000 in the first year and get's 7mpg. BUT IT HAS TO STAY A TRUE B-pillerless hardtop and looks 85% like that concept.
  20. James is right about the Bull Shark. Nasty Creatures. menacing: scary:
  21. Who gives a $h! about overpriced import "exotics" when the Camaro concept that wil become a production car & a reality for me to be able to purchase is hotter than 100% of the cars in this thread. That's honestly the way I feel. F40? 904GTS? Gallardo? MR2!?!? all weak for the asking price. [/asshole]
  22. Best New Buick since the Park Ave. Amazing... sexy, sleek and just about the only SUV/crossover outside of the FX45 & SRX that actaually gets me excited. This thing is a winner. NOt as cool as the Camaro but great news for Buick. Makes the Lucerne look like a '91 Camry.
  23. HOT!!!
  24. it's like they tried to make the Caddy Sixteen of trucks.... horrible... the worst part is the grille that looks like it has been plugged with plastic inserts. sorry Balthy, I'm not with you on this one. I think it's worse than that Chayenne concept which was too feminine.
