  1. Is this a f@#king joke!?!?!?!?!? This looks like a riced out Ion. Everywhere I look I see Saturn Ion! WTF???
  2. Hell yeah!!! I showed it to Marcia (The G/F) and after about 25 seconds of viewing the phots she said: -Interior is among the best she's ever seen -Exterior is very muscular and sexy... "just like our 68" -"If you sell all the cars in the driveway* minus the Datsun you can buy one!" * 68 Camaro, 97 STS, Volvo demolition derby car & POS '94 Corsica that was given to me for free The fact that Marcia would consider a two door car to be acceptable speaks volumes. I mean with the baby and all the only car she was okay with me buying that I actally wanted was a Charger since it's a 4dr. We just might dump the STS and still buy a Charger 3.5 for the time being and trade up to the Camaro as soon as it comes out.
  3. Now that my letters and drawings to GM regarding the importance fo a (1st gen) retro 5th gen Camaro have been made into reality when my prayers were answered today I think the next step is to bring back the V8, RWD full sizeres. A fullsize sedan/coupe for BUick Caddy & Chevy... they could call them uh, Ummmm.... I donno B-body has a nice ring. Monte Carlo / Caprice Classic Invicta / Electra Coupe Deville / Fleetwood Brougham just an idea. You'll be receiving my letters Mr. Lutz. (spell check will be used )
  4. Yes any other day this would be an A+ but today it's just a solid A with the excitment of the Camaro running through my veins. This is a very nice concept... if I'm ever a milllionare this wil be in my collection. Screw the production G35... this is the one I want.
  5. Hope to see you back full time soon Buddy.... mean time if you have not seen it yet, check out this thread There's a few photos you might like in there of the Flamin'Hawk and other such stuff from this past Nov. Hope the 100lbs. "Puppies" are doing well. P.S. Have you sold that BiTurbo Maserati yet? Man that's a sweet oddball car.
  6. If there is a better anit-drug in the universe please do tell because I can nto think of one! This might even be better than sex with 3 bisexual cheerlears
  7. January 9th 2006 will go down as one of the greatest days of automotive history. Never before has there been so much emotion & faith invested in a car that was for all intents and purposes, not supposed to exist. I think it's safe to say that about 10,000,000 people around the counrty are walking around wiht a smile plastered to theri face today. God it is a glorious day.... put this in the Anti-drug thread. x 1,000,000 Hurry back Camino, we all miss you too. You get mentiojned at least once a week by me alone. Hope al is well with the Hawk & Goat.
  8. Balthazar: why? beacuse for some reason we as a country are a bunch of self hating anti-american retards. If our founding fathers were alive today they'd kick all of our underserving asses. BTW: LOL at you son's comment. So true.
  9. Fly's got a great idea there... And I like my 1984 Maxima's interior just fine thanks.
  10. BV: while it's not groundbreaking or very original it IS a very cool car. :) I'm conflicted... as a former owner of a Mercury XR7 (5-oh) Im a fan of the 4.9 liter 302 FE.... but the tradition with Nissan/Datsun conversions is to go Chevy (GM) as in 350. Eh, the hell wiht it Ilove it anyway. The 5.0 has amazing aftermarket support. Almost as much as the 350. I'd love to have that for a daily driver/beater.
  11. I'm not a water baby so no I';m not. Voted indiferent. NOw if I was the couple in Open Water I'd be $h!ting my wetsuit however. I've always been very fascinated with them however. Jaws was a cool movie. Watching that in the 80s as a kid made me not wat to ever go near the water.
  12. you fu*king nostradamus you!!!
  13. absolutley... I agree 100%
  14. Sorry enzora but I think sales figures telll the story: the more expensive Camaro sold like Hotcakes while Ford tried to disavow the II with the Fox redesign on 1979. I think I'd rather walk or buy a Toyota Crown rather than buy a Mustang II.
  15. Look at the Solstice concept & production model... nuff said. B) BTW: are those angel eyes? The production car better stay a hardtop! That's my bigggest concern.
  16. Be stillmy heart! no seriously I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack! And I I retract my prediction that the Enclave would not be as sexy as the Centime concept. Wow is that sharp!
  17. WMJ: Stop hacking into my computer you porn thief. "Naked Chicks with Guns" is giving me a boner.... although 70% of my porn would be in a folder titled: "BBW Lesbians"
  18. Some of the GM busses were cool and so were their trains but best of all was the crazy future-liner. http://www.geocities.com/sponcom26/Futurmobiles.html
  19. True. I'd rather wait untill 2008 to see a production Camaro but have it be the AMAZING product it will be rather than have 2003-2008 Camaro that is jus some rebadge of a G6 coupe or whatever. Thank God.
  20. Yeah don;t they still have one at the Gugenheim? That and a WWII GP. BTW: I love all this classic stuf you dig up for us Harley. Makes this place so much more fun.
  21. and don't forget the gawd-awful (day late & $1 short) Mustang King Cobra. What a lame attempt for copy the Screaming Chicken. So retarded. Even as a kid I laughed at those cars... and when I was not laughing I wondered how much LSD it took to make that car look less ugly.
  22. The only car to survive the 1970s without having it's soul ripped out was the Pontiac Firebird/TRans Am... As much as I love the Camaro it did get a bit lame there for a few years. It's not that there's anything wrong with a late 70s Camaro with a 305... they sold like hot cakes, but still the Firebird/TA always somehow escaped the safety/mpg/emissions-nazis. I love to see restored 1979 Camaros at the carshows but I'd take any 70s Trans Am over it in a heartbeat. I think by the time the 70s ended the Mustang name was in the dumpster because of the Mustang II. (biggest POS to ever try to call itself a pony car) Horrible styling and terrible stance.... too compact and a lack of any V8s made that car lamer than the Pinto! The Camaro had doen very well for itself... Chevy still made an effort even in 1974. By 1979 the light at the end of the tunnel probably vanished but the 3rd gen. would cahnge all that in 1982. But the Firebird/TA? It owes NO appologies. The 6.6 was still a big motor (esp when a V8 Mustang did not even exist anymore) and the styling NEVER got lame. It was always a shapr looking car. I think a 1974 Firebird looks better than certain 1970/1971 Mopars that go for millions of dollars at Barrett Jackson.
  23. I love the grill ebout it's NOT a 1969 style grille.... it's very 1967/1968 actaually... the headlights are way out at the very corners of the grille.. the 1969 Camaro had headlights that were pushed inward and the RS had the regular style lights. I think the grill could be better but I still love it!
  24. I do love it so know I say this out of love for Chevy trucks: Too feminine and way too much Ford in it's greenhouse and headlights.
