  1. Ladies & Gentleman, I submit for your approval: Nineteen-hundred & Sixty-nine Cadillac Sedan Deville
  2. Well... now that's different. But still I'd be tempted to go with the '49. > thinks < If you throw in a RR style parthenon grille with a 24k GOLD Caddy hood ornament on each and every C!marron then I'll settle for the 2.8 liter Cadillac that Zigs.
  3. A bit unorthodox but I'd take it over twenty five brand new C1marrons wiht continental kits and vinyl roofs. :CG_all:
  4. Hey cool you decided to show off the EGG. :D I'll have to post some photos of the old Cutlass since I stil have all of them on my Hard drive & digital camera. Y.D. Yup... like I mentioned a while back Ross and I have been going back and forth about who's going to keep the car but about a month ago he decided it was too cool for a life of Panther burnouts and Eddie Bauer baby-seats.
  5. Hudson: right... understood. Just reinforcing the point that in fact this car is cool because it's a compact car with RWD and an inline six. Other than oddballs like the Lexus IS it seems BMW is the only one who still believes in this layout. That's why my Datsun is a "Poor Man's BMW" from 1984. Althogh since it cost $12,094 back then it was not exactly cheap. My 1983 Firebird (w/ 305, T-tops & auto) cost just over $12,000 in '83. :) Yellow Dart: "You seem like a v8-or-nothing kind of guy" Absolutely. At one point I had four cars all with V8s and could barelly afford to fill up ONE tank on pay day. :P I still think the V8 is the coolest engine going dollar-for-dollar. SCB Bay-bee! It's just for the sake of practicality and variety a little RWD shitbox is fun, and the 22-ish real world fuel economy is a good excuse. Besides the GM sourced POwer steering pump makes it like 1.3% GM. Now if I could only convince Marcia to get rid of that hight milage STS and buy a nice low milage Park Ave. She thinks they're way too "old" for her. Plus she's got issues with giving up her 300 HP.
  6. Not to beat a dead horse but you show me ONE other car I could have bought used for $300 and driven 14,XXX miles with barely any maintenance that has all these features: - Compact dimensions (for extra discomfort, the good fuel economy is a necessary evil) - RWD - IRS (with POSI) - Smooth as silk Inline Six with electronic fuel injection - 4-door - Fo'teen inch alloys... (I gots to keep up with the pimps) - Manual 5-speed - Front and rear disk brakes - "Super Sound System" (8-speakers from the factory w/ cassette thank you very much) - Super-cushy soft fabric seats remeniscent of a Delta 88s except in bucket format - rotating map light - friendly female voice to remind you things like "parking brake on" & "fuel level is low" - stand up hood ornament - Tilt steering column - Quarts Digital Clock! :P
  7. Anyway... some more in reverse chronological order:
  8. Hey retard how about throwing in a turbo 3800 into the EGG in north-south configuration and sending power to a IRS from a totalled 2005 STS? P.S. don't say shit like that... you're makig me look bad and people will think you're a redneck homophobe or someting. I know you're just messin around but stick to midler language like cockgoblin. MmmKay?
  9. As long as you guys don't mind my loud-mouth & opinionated self to show up I'm in. My schedule is pretty flexible so it's probably a possibility for me to go arrive anywhere between the 19th and 22nd. It'll be my first time in Detroit so I'm also excited about that. Too bad I'll have to take the Datsun most likely.
  10. Okay! Finally I've got my mind made up. I'm going. How can I not. I'd regret it all my life if I was not there to see the Camaro. After all I've been waiting for this for almost a decade. When the 4th gen. got a little long in the tooth in the late 90s. The only thing is... my daughter's Birthday party is the 14th (or possibly 15th) so I'll have to go somewhere between the 16th and the 22nd. Who wants to meet the Panther? :P
  11. corker probably.... or you can call up Deniss Gauge and ask him. If he's not too busy grooming his mustache he'll help you out. He-he.
  12. Not enough I think.... You know what I always say: A little cushin' for the pushin'!
  13. So does this Datsun..... as does mine. :AH-HA_wink: Check it: As far as you XP715... you need to get that '71 Boat tail so you stop PMSing. :P
  14. JQ: Stop it, you're hoarding all the musclecars. :AH-HA_wink: Seriously that's a sick collection right there.
  15. somehow everything just WORKS on that car.... the whitewalls and tan roof work so great wiht the opera lights. :)
  16. Too bad, if this was a Camry and Accord it'd be a good thing.
  17. check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1982-Nissan...1QQcmdZViewItem If only it were 2000 miles closer and the price $300 (like my '84) versus $3000. I'd buy it and make a beater out of it... run it on vegetable oil (bio-fuel) and then hold on to it for a spare car/parts car. :P
  18. Who cares where it's from? Geezus. I don't go around right-clickig everything just to see the source.
  19. Balthazar: That photo is absolutely delicious. WMJ: you da man!
  20. Search by keywords: wiht filter by member name: Sixty8panther results: 7 pages!
  21. the FE3 was NOT just an emblem on the trunk.... it also consisted of a mention on the window sticker! :P
  22. I do not know you! (glad you took up my suggestion for your username)
  23. Speaking of the Coupe Deville like I mentioned the other day my buddy Ross IS going to keep it after all since I still have not payed him for it and he has a love affair with it. :P He'll be storing it at my house untill a point in the future unknown... mean time I' going to replace the Fleetwood Brougham with a temp. beater. I keep trying to get Ross to join this site. He's a lunatic not unlike myself. :D
  24. wow.... holy cow
  25. THIS POST IS NOT WORK SAFE It just does not get any hotter than this: I stand corrected.
