Your Wrecked Car
I know this sounds terrible but in a sick way I DO! $9,000 *cha-ching* instead of like the $3000 I'll get on trade in since the car's got 145K miles. :(

How to design a 2006 Accord
Decka beat me to it... some assmunch cut me off in a silver ojne yesterday and all I could think of was "Russian Knockoff of a Grand Prix" Maybe we should start a Grotesque-Butt thread? This would take the cake. Looks liek it fell out of ther ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. The profile is just painfully drab but the front is decent. Not great buit at least it's clean withouth being toatlly sterille.

Behold the egg!
Told you OCNBLU was the Man! That's why I drove out all the way to Amish country to meet up with him even though we could only hang out for like 2 hours.

SS Commerical!
Back on the old forum (before the crash in August) I had a long and drawn out thread about my idea of an Atlas engined Skyline-competitor Camaro called Panther. It was my own brainchild and was not well received. The thing is it's very lame to pretend in a commercial that you can beat a competitor when you really can't. Let's leave the false advertising to Toyota, Honda & Ford. The layman knows the Chager/300C are much better cars than some dolled up Impala wiht a transverse mounted engine and FWD. Not that the Impala is a horrible product or that the Mopars don't have flaws but it's not even a contest as far as performance & value goes.

Um... w00t!
Hmm... one year minus one day before my Daughter's birth. Cool. Anyway neat chop, I heard form a GM rep in 2000 that there was some talk of a 1997 Chevelle that would have been just a 2dr Malibu. THANK god that did not happen. Can you imagine Beretta II being called Chevelle???

Sexy Butts
You know how my first car was an almost new 1994 Sunbird? Well my parents were seriously considering a slightly used 1993 Cavalier Z24 before they bought the Sunbird. The car was black wiht gray interior and it was loaded. My Dad stil wouldn't settle for a stick  but at least this thing looked sporty with those cool ground effects BMW would later "borrow" for the M3. Sucks that I got a hand-me-down Sunbird with an ashmatic 2.0 liter when I could have had a 3.1 liter Z24. So getting back to the topic at hand, YES I like the Cavalier Z24's butt. Hell my family's first car in the USA was a brandy-new 1989 Cavalier RS sedan. Silver Metallic with the red & black gound effects/trim & a luggage rack. Even the interior was upscale for a poor little J-car. Remeniscent of the Camaros and Beretta GTs of the day. NOS: Yes the Viper coupe is good (not fantastic) but the ragtop is gross. Should have clarified. Besides V10s are unappealing to me. Either make it a nice BB V8 or go all out & make it a V12. I hate half-assed Supercars.

Whats the name of the car?
Those were quite common back int the day... but I could have sworn they came out in the 72/73 era. Maybe those later models with hideous black bumpers make me think post 73. I donno. There's a local junkyard that has an orange one and a green one... both beyond help. I tore off the pillar emblem off the orange one.... it's sitting in one of dozens of boxes of car emblems, hood ornaments & trim pieces.

The Signature/Avatar Test Thread
You crazy wild man you, Joe. (how are you enjoying those Dealer promo plates? some of those I "borrowed" under the cover of darkness)

Your Wrecked Car
Oh, and the cars where the A/B/C pillars appear cut... it's because some one was trapped inside so they cut it open wiht the jaws of life. (hence the fire dept. comment)

Your Wrecked Car
Very sad but it could be worse.

I think that's a fair annalogy but does not take into account a few major factors: - Saturn never skips a meal even though it's the Doberman, not even a kid. - By starving Buick one day it makes it more hungry the next not less. - A lot of food spoils because it's left uneaten by the parents. - There's a vegetable garden out back that is not being harvested. - The Government would gladly give them aid like foodstamps but they have yet to ASK.

Oooppps forgot to scribble out his plate. Oh well. Those ugly hubcaps are hideous I don't know why he can't put something better on or better yet, NOTHING. The factory wheels were slick but even bare steel rims would be better than these Wal*Mart hubcaps.

Hello & Welcome. I had a Cutlass Ciera for a few short months back in 2001. As soon as I bought it I had a friend of a friend make me an offer on it. Bought it for $2000 sold it for $3000. It was just supposed to be a temporary car in between RWD V8s but I do mis it once in a while. It was the most loaded Ciera I've ever driven or even seen upclose. 1994 Cutlass Ciera Black with a tan leather interior, power EVERYTHING Keyless entry 3100 V6 (they all were at this point) Cassette too. :P It's still with the same guy, a Vet. on disabilty. Once in a while I drive by it and say 'hello' since it's only about 20 miles away. Here's a photo of it from last winter wiht it's snow tires on: Rhymes wiht Chrome. :)

Build your Dream Sleeper
Balthazar has the right idea: Except a lot more worn, scummy and with faded paint & serious cosmetic flaws. I'd get a rear end out of some RWD car and install a four link coil spring suspension in the back. +

RWD & AWD Throwaways/FWD Keepers
What is annoying about that? It makes just as much sense as grouping it into the stalk... I'm on the fence and don;t hate or really prefer either but there's nothing wrong wiht ther floor switch. It's all about your frame of referance.

Misc. Camaro Stuff
Munson: I'm super Jelaous!!! That's a sleek ride right there. Great shape too. Next time you snap a photo roll the back windows down too. I've been guilty of forgeting myself but they look so much cooler with the windows all down. The black-on-black-on-white is so wicked awsome. There's a reason they're selling kit cars of these cars now. Best musclke car ever right there. '69 Camaro. Harley: Sweet. That's got to be a COPO (perhaps a clone) I'd love to be a punk kid back in fall of 1968 with this dog-dish-hubcapped sleeper... pull up next to a stickered up, loud paint Mopar or Mustang and eat him for lunch like a Great white. Just like that big gapping mouth of a grill suggests. 427 big block out of the factory in a car designed for a 350.

Sure the C6s ass could lok better... it's kind of a B+ as is, but damn with the performance this car offers, the price and the solid incredible chassis I think I can overlook slightly bland styling. Not like the Viper's ass looks any better. Quite the contrary.

Petra: That's the point. By making less & less product (models, variety) you can only SELL less and less... A Buick lineup with only TWO cars pretty much sucks based on just that compared to seven models. Let's bunch the LeSabre/Park Ave & Regal/Century togeather for the sake of redundancy and comonality and you're still left wiht FIVE cars not two. The Terraza and Randezvous are 70% the same product too, for those about to bring up the three "trucks" Buick has. In my opinion what Petra said spells extinction for Buick before my daughter even reaches her teenage years. This is a disturbing & depressing thought. How many more divisions have to be suffocated with a pillow for the sake of some bullshit agenda like Saturn, competing with Lexus and the SUV-zation of every brand. 2005 For SUVs is what 1968 was for musclecars. Sure they're not dissapearing yet but the train has left the station.

Not trying to be rude but in N.E. those are all pretty ho-hum, except for the Brabus.

Okay, well at least we're having a meaningful discussion. I agree wiht some points and not with others... I was not attacking the Randevouz specifically although I mostly agree with XP about his synopsis. I've always liked GM's 'rough' pushrod V6s but then again I like loud engines that let you know they're working. I can however see the point of wanting a smooth and quiet motor in a division poised to take on Lexus. Therein lies the problem! To hell with all this "go after Lexus" crap. Get a clue GM, Lexus buyers will never ever in a million effin light years buy a Buick. Same as Acura & Lexus buyers never embraced the Aurora & Intrigue. Here's a freekin pop-quiz for you GM: How do you sell lots and lots of Buicks? 1. Build Cars that break all ties to tradition & hope everyone will embrace radical change. 2. Build more SUVs and Crossovers. 3. Build Cars that resemble the Japanese Mid size luxury cars like the POS ES330. 4. Build really good B U I C K S with familiar names. I think the answer is obvious.

96 Riviera with wood dash...
This stick-on wood trim would look much better on a tan interior versus gray... I wonder if XP715 saw this?
