  1. Some more... And look waht the cat dragged in.... a couple of 1961 Continental prototypes: Check out the MISSING B-pillar. Too bad the production version did not stay true to concept. I'm still feelng shell shocked from this whole no hardtops after '60 thing. But at least I know I'm not going crazy since I've seen this photo before.
  2. My friend Ross said it best: The ad for that product should have a testimonial. Something like this: "The Bailey Auto Heater keeps my 1911 Dodge so warm and cozy that my wife fell asleep after riding along with me for only a few minutes. Three years later she's STILL in a coma. A nice, relaxing, peaceful coma. Now I can fu*k the secretary without fear of getting caught." Thank You Bailey Auto Heater Co. Sincerely Benjamin Bradford Bloomingdale III
  3. NOS: I was just trying to say something retarded to make the picture appear even funnier than it already is. It's an early 60s? Dodge COE 8-lug dump, and says "8 cubic yards" on the dump body but then advertises water drinking... W T F ? For some reason I love dumb $hit like this.
  4. Don Knotts says...
  5. WMJ was close it's an (Australian Market Only) 1967 Datsun Confucius SRR. First car ever to have adjustable lumbar. I'm kidding. A few of you are close but no one got it yet. HINT: this car came out almost a decade after a failed product by the same parent company with the same first & last name. Confused yet? You should be! :P
  6. Have you kept up with world politics in the past 15 years? How far would you say Russia has come as a nation since 1990? Do you really believe that they're keeping up wiht the rest of us finally? C'mon now. When you have the Mafia controling gasoline prices & extremely corrupt politicians screwing the system in every way possible while most of the country is at near poverty levels I'd say that makes it hard to manufacture, market and sell desirable products. Ladas from the past few years still make 1980s Hyundais look like Italian exotics. And the ones that looked decent back in the day were just rebadged Fiats. You ever heard the saying you can take the boy out of the country but you can't take the country out of the boy? Think about waht I said and you'll understand. I was born and lived in an Eastern European country... the people are/were conditioned to act and think a certain way... a mild form of brainwashing in a way. This mentality does not go away overnight.
  7. DO IT!!!! And then sue Ford if they don;t hold up their end of the bargain. Send in $6.25 to compensate for inflation. :D
  8. funkypunk: Yes, she's a hottie and it appears you wear high quality shirts. Always a good combination.
  9. Found on Google... thought I'd share. :)
  10. There's nothing wrong wiht BBS rims... esp. on a sharp looking 1980s or 1990s car like a '91/'91 Camaro. I'd love to ahve that car... except wiht my OWN motor in it. :D Here's some more yummy Camaros: Never know what you'll find on Google... this is a Manage a trois I can dig. :D Some more sexy ladys with Camaros.
  11. Exactly. 95% of safety is still a combination of driving style/attentiveness and a pinch of luck... good or bad. Millions of peopole drove Ford Pintos billions of miles... only a few ever got killed. But on the flip side I'm pretty sure that given a bad accident you'd die even in a brand new 2006 Volvo with a racing helmet on and seatbelt on. I'm not going to live my life in fear of dying. That would be kind of like the Government taking away our rights in the name of freedom.... oh wait, nevermind.
  12. Cool... I've heard of this book but I can't afford it right now. I love Automotive literature. If I ever owned a V16 Cadillac I'd sell both my Kidney's before I'd part with it... but if I was to sell it I'd think I'd get more than $90 for it. WOW.
  13. Razor: You're somewhat close but no cigar. Try again buddy. :)
  14. Fly: So I take it you find those cars to be aestetically pleasing and well built? Or perhaps you think it's just a coincidence that they're all made in Russia right? Nothing to do wiht five decades of oppression by misconstrued communist ideals? It's like oil and water with you and me. <_<
  15. Yup... the dogleg on the short wheelbase TB is very noticable but not much more than the average 4dr SUV. The white tach is a bit awkward, but who cares...? it's a Muscle Truck! :)
  16. Wow.... cool stuff all three of you. BV: where the heck did you get this poster of the SRT8 Charger? IS that from the Brochure? My heart almost stopped when I saw that!
  17. Does the Studebaker run on Hot Cocoa or Fruit Punch? How many gumdrops for a gallon at this ESSO? Seriously that's really cool. Can I come over and eat a rear quarter off that Raymond Loewy designed beauty!?
  18. Year(s), Make, Model & what made it significant.
  19. I've got about 50% of that... and I have a 2001 AND 2002 complete Chevy Car line Stand up laminated display. 2001: intro of Z06 2002: Exodus of the Camaro Too bad I wa no longer workig at a Chevy/Pontiac Dealer in 2002, I'd love to have the same amount of Firebird Trans Am dealer only momorobilia.
  20. Smartass! Cermazie nailed it. Wash Before your commute or a nice long drive just for fun.
  21. All I'm going to say is You can take the Russian out of Communism but you can't take the comunism out of the Russian. It's sad taht a country wiht tons of land, natrual resources and loads of smart people keeps itself so damned opressed and ill-developed. I'm not sure if that comes off as mean or sympathetic but it's a sad reality. Now as far as these cars it's a random mix of 3 decade's worth of cars from eastern europe. Most of them are not stock or unmodified so it's tough to judge what's just the owner's poor taste and what is just gross design.
  22. One word: EBAY. If you need someting specific Ebay is the best... another source of good ads is this site: http://www.adclassix.com/
  23. One of the problems wiht GM is they have to have like 43 effin engines at the same time. Jezzus. Spruce up the 3800 and keep that... make a couple versitile small V6s... we already have several ecotec variations, and then just give Caddy an V8, V8SC V12 and V16 versions of the N0* and a LS7 for the next CTS-V. Then you've got the atlas engines and LS pushrod V8s. DONE!!!! Save the damned development money for the Caprice, Roadmaster and Velite.
  24. My local Autozone is pretty cool. They have an OBD2 that they will help you out with, free of charge in some cases.
