  • October sales total 30,387 units, a 0.24 percent increase over October 2014

Herndon, VA — (November 3, 2015) Volkswagen of America, Inc. (VWoA) today reported sales of 30,387 units delivered in October 2015, a 0.24 percent increase over October 2014.

The newly redesigned 2016 Passat is expected to hit showrooms by the end of the year. Pricing for the 2016 Volkswagen Passat starts at $22,440—the same as the outgoing base model when equipped with an automatic transmission. When new content is factored in, this represents a $1,315 value enhancement over the base 2015 Passat.

 

The Tiguan produced the best month on record for the vehicle with 4,815 vehicles delivered, a 167.1 percent increase.  Touareg also saw success in the SUV segment; the vehicles delivered 840 units, a 45.3 percent increase over October 2014.
