This years Beijing Auto Show marks the end of the road for the Maserati Kubang concept.

"After Beijing, we will retire the Kubang concept. Our SUV will reappear in its production form and with its final name in due time," said Maserati CEO Harald Wester.

Beijing marks the forth showing of the Kubang SUV. First unveiled at last year's Frankfurt auto show, the Kubang also has been shown at Dubai and Detroit.

Sources inside Maserati say the production version will arrive in 2014.

I wonder how much it will change from this look as it looks like it was stamped out of the Cayenne.

I bet they changed the name because Jeremy Clarkson made the joke that "KUBANG!" was the sound it would make once the warranty expired.

Too Funny, Seems auto companies always come up with a car name that can be used n stand up comedy.

After all once that warranty expires it just might go kuBANG!!! :P
