T1GHT WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA

Featured Replies

In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions

of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification,

photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be

multiple part and others a simple one word answer.

At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners

will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the

over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy.

Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate.

T.W.T.T. Thread #07

This car was introduced in the 1950s & its name referred to how

powerful its motor was. Recently a concept car was introduced

that borrowed the name of this car's 5.424 litre motor from the

first year of production.

This should be very easy, esp. if you can do metric-standard

conversions & own a good book on 1950s cars. :AH-HA_wink:

I believe this was the 1951 Cunningham C2R. The engine was a Firepower sourced from Chrysler and also the recent concept car by Chrysler.

You're half right Fly.

It was not a race car.

The old car's name eluded to it's horsepower and the name

of its engine was resurrected as the name of a concept car.

Nope.

Saratoga is not a name that hints at the horsepower

contained within. This car was named after the

advertised power rating of its Firepower V8 motor.

You guys are thinking obscure. It's not obscure at all.

Correct! :spin:

How come the easy ones are the ones people get confused on? :P
