Will there be a diesel Yukon XL?

Does anyone have any information about whether the duramax will be offered in the Yukon XL / Suburban?

I always heard the last generation couldn't accomodate the Allison Transmission, and GM wouldn't put any other trans behind the Duramax... but haven't heard if, with the new models, GM was going to offer the D-Max for the Yukon 2500.

yeah, I've read about the new "light duty" diesel that isn't out yet. That's what you're talking about, right?

I was wondering if GM was going to use the Duramax in the 'burb or Yukon 3/4 ton models, now or anytime soon....
