T1G#T WH!P$ TROPHY TRIVIA

In the next few weeks I'm going to post 59 different trivia questions

of all different forms on C&G. Multiple choice, photo identification,

photo match up & even some true or false. Some questions will be

multiple part and others a simple one word answer.

At the end of the 59 individual trivia thread questions all the winners

will be added up and a trophy will be mailed via the USPS to the

over all winner of the first annual Tight Whips Trivia Trophy.

Best of luck to all, I encourage everyone to participate.

'33 Chevy Albanita.

The body styling-wise was completely unique and definately advanced, but the primary purpose was a ride/ handling program, testing 4-wheel independent suspension. Albanita also had a unique monotube chassis (tho the productioin X-frame ultimately turned out to be much stiffer).

Story goes that Chrysler actively photographed the Albanita at Milford Proving Grounds, to the point that one engineer took to carrying a shotgun during testing, threatening to shoot industrial spies.

The Chrysler Airflow debuted for 1934.

Agreed Balthazar... If I had enough cash I'd give

Jay Leno a run for his money. Perhaps someday

I'll make that Northstar V16 that I'm always

talking about.... but with 16 Webber carbs. under

chrome velocity stacks and mated to a 5-on the

tree setup in a 1983 Cadillac Bustle Back with a

streched nose and RWD w/ IRS.

I'd love to also make my own 1930s retro cars

with wacky styling like that but with modern

suspension and brakes.
