Really? I would not take any VW GTi ever made over a Corvair Monza. :blink:

Us gay guys have special attractions to VWs... We can't help it. :P

My Corvair was pretty damned lovable, for sure, but it wasn't a daily driver. At the time I owned my Corvair, I also had a '92 Golf GL 2 dr. as my daily driver. I was the funny guy with the water cooled VW and the air cooled Chevy.

*shrugs* My theory is that guys are like VWs. Sensibly packaged, efficient, stylish exterior, great interior... yet rarely reliable. :P

Again... The past is the past. GM and Opel don't exactly have a clean past either.
