I have a honda friend/import humper that just loves to point out that the IRL hasn't lost any motors to failure during racing during the last 12 or so IRL races. He then points out how bad the Aurora motors were when they were used in the IRL.

Does anyone have actual failure rate info for the Aurora motor used in Indy car racing?

Ask him how many IRL Honda V8s are used in production cars.
