when the improved 2.2L is supposed to be used in the 09 'balt, other than the g5 (if it's alive), will this engine be in more vehicles than delta immediately? hopefully it makes good numbers, and if BAS is still used, will be used instead of the 2.4L to get another point or 2 in combined mileage.

It does seem like one GM isn't very fond of. But then again if they can get direct injection into the 1.8, their small vehicles like the Cobalt will get great gas mileage with good power.
