Attention, Attention, A Fire has been Reported

Featured Replies

Nothing worse than just settling down into bed after drinking all night to hear a tinny, mechanical voice out in the hallway, ear-piercing sirens, and be blinded by flashing lights at 3 AM. God I hate false fire alarms.

Thank god... I thought this was going to be another Fiero refference. :P But yeah, that would suck. It's bad enough to be awaken by an alarm clock, can't image sirens, lights, and some weird voice when trying to sleep. Especially being a false alarm like if you forget to turn your alarm off. So annoying... :D

That does remind me of a story...I had gone home one weekend instead of staying there as I typically did... Well, the entire school ran a fire drill on the Saturday during the weekend at 5 AM in the morning and wouldn't let anybody back in any building for over 2 hours while it was also an Earthquake drill........there were reports of poeple telling others that they didn't care if someone had to be at work by 6 AM somewhere, they didn't need to go back in the building for anything (like clothing other than bathrobes...lol). Apparantly after that point, they decided that entire campus drills like that just weren't going to work.
I miss college. Wish I was back. :( After four years of that B.S. I never tought I'd hear myself say that but here I am four years after I graduated wishing I was back.
