Anyone else here a fan of those cars? A little bland, but I wouldn't mind picking up a lightly used example (if there were any out there).

Good luck finding one at least in my area. They are hard to find and most that are clean are owned by older couples and they aren't for sale.

I had an '89 that was beat to $h! for a brief period of time (3 months?) and I loved it. Not a bad ride for what it was. Never before or since have I had a car with more buttons and gadgets in it.

I prefer the facelifted models of '90 and later (when the Riv recieved its sloping tail and the Toro got bigger, less boxy body panels.)
