Some new GM finds from the Franklin Mint

Featured Replies

After getting an e-mail from the Franklin Mint about a limited-edition, web-exclusive Mercedes gullwing diecast model, I decided to check out their website to see if any new GM models were available. While disappointed that the offerings have been trimmed, they do have the following for sale:

1955 Pontiac Star Chief Hardtop Coupe (in two colors):

1957 Chevy Bel Air "Fuelie":

I'm particularly interested in the '56 Cameo, as this is the first time a 1956 model is being offered (Franklin Mint has done the '55 Cameo and Danbury Mint offers the '57 Cameo). Now hopefully DM offers a '58, as they have both the stepside and fleetside '58 models available, and all four years of the Cameo can be had in fine scale.

Cool..I just recently picked up a 1:64th scale '55 Star Chief hardtop from M2.
