Cursive may Disappear

The only thing I've written in cursive in the last 10 years is my signature.

Make that since 2nd grade...that was the only time I've ever been required to use cursive. I have terrible handwriting anyway, and the cursive is much harder to read than my usual chicken scratch. I think it should still be taught, but I have no real use for it...even my signature only contians three letters that are legible(initials)...it would look right at home on a Rx pad...ha ha
