I got one...

Beside the Audio system difference, they don't seem to have any differences when comparing an SL to an SL1 except an SL1 was $700.00 more expensive.

The SL1s had more features available than the SL... but nothing really standard to justify the $700 base price increase:

  • SL1s had tan, black & gray available, SL's only had gray interiors
  • SL1s also had more exterior colors available
  • SL1s had an available automatic transmission, SLs only had a standard
  • SL1s had several features optional that weren't available on the SLs:

Power sunroof, Sunroof sunshade, Cruise control, Power windows, 1-touch down, Remote keyless entry, Tilt steering wheel, Front reading lights, Power door locks, Ignition disable, Security system, Panic alarm, and Traction control...

I'm sure you have something on your mind that must not be obvious.

Yeah, I looked on CarsDirect, too. :P

I saw something that alluded to mirrors, namely that the SL didn't have a passenger-side mirror. Tell me this isn't it.

I go out of my way to not own a modern car that has a passanger side mirror OPTION. How sad.
