One of my top favorite Trans Ams. I was 15 years old when Pontiac introduced the MCE-for-'91 Firebird line in spring of '90. I would ride my bike to Cathcart Pontiac (about a 4-5 mile ride from my house) in Trenton (Ewing) often to see the latest Pontiacs, and wait for one of these new T/A GTAs to show up. I got lucky one day when a transporter full of new Firebirds and Camaros was in the lot and I got to watch a green and tan T/A GTA just like the one above get off-loaded. The salesman standing next to me went in to his desk and came out with a '91 Firebird brochure with a like-GTA on the inside spread (I still have that brochure in my collection). I swore one of these days I would own a T/A GTA of that vintage ('91/'92), and that one above is definitely calling my name.

I was never a fan of the 91-92 snout and side skirts. I prefer the 86-90 TAs. But this is a beaut.

Last year I ran into some guy at a car show who had a mint torch red 91 Firebird with the 305 and 3xxxx miles for like 5K. I could overlook the nose for that price.
