The Series 1 Shelby is an amazing piece of equiptment - I highly reccomend taking a close look at one if you ever get the chance. It will blow you away with the way it is built in much the same way as a Ford GT does. Under the skin, its true mechanical art.

Back when these were new, I got to spend some time really checking them out at Virginia International Raceway when they were there for a vintage event honoring the Shelby marque. Got to meet the man himself and came away with some original brochures for the Series 1.

It was a great experience.
