Spoilers - removing them

Recommended Posts

Folks:

Is it possible to remove the factory spoiler on a base MC or GP without making too much of a mess? Can it be done and then have the body shop where the car was delivered (no, not in a hospital) do a minor touch up on the paint?

Let me know. Maybe you're not big on spoilers either.

Thanks!

I know on the GTO you just have to unscrew it (not sure how exactly you do that though) and then there are some little plugs that you put in the holes. I think you probably have to do more than putting the plugs in (touching up the paint as you said), but it sounded like it wasn't that hard.
