Maybe it is to tow the Fords and Dodges out of the way when they break down! :P

I'm not sure what the role was...watching the TV broadcast yesterday, I did see it on some occasions... it will be interesting to see if they have any of these cars at the race here in Phoenix next weekend.

It was the pace truck for the NASCAR Truck race there. Note the Camaro was also the pace car for one of the other races in Red too.

Their are many races there including the ARCA race and on the back stretch they also had two nights of Modified NASCAR races and late NASCAR Late Model races in the super stretch area.

If you go there is a whole week of racing outside the cup races that also are more than one with the open and qualifying races.

All were televised and GM got seen often.
