I have some speed stats for you. This vehicle runs 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. The quarter mile is eaten up in 14.1 seconds at a terminal speed of 99 mph. Am I talking about some 2-seater sports car? NOOOOOO... these are actual instrumented figures for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crewcab 4X4 High Country, with the blazing new 6.2L V8 engine. That is the definition of BAD.ASS.

Why can't you just get a 6.2 V8 with a regular cab shortbed!?!

That would make for one wild ride. Awesome.

Yawn, Put the new Corvette V8 or the TT V6 into a mid size truck and call it Syclone. That would be bad ass.

Full size trucks are for work, not impressed with the peeps that lower them, bag them and pretty much destroy the truck from the usefulness of what it is intended for.

Uh... I'm likely to do this because its easier for me to physically get in a full size truck when its lowered. And the parking spot in Brooklyn is so extreme, you need some sort of variable height control to get into it.

I have the needs for a truck... that's why I picked up the CheapHoe... I find the idea of using a shiny truck for work to be nuts... but when I'm driving something shiny and new... I want a low COG... but GM sells nothing that is full size, fast and low.

Well, $54k ought to buy you more than just some fancy bling and extra cowhide...

I kinda of wish GM sold lots of 'bodies in white' with VINs... like trucks and stuff.
