i remember reading this somewhere on the net or on this site.

but apparently a politician, i'm not sure whether it was a govenor the president or just a senate or something, told Chevrolet to reduce their prices. And Chevrolet Responded that they couldnt otherwise they would ruin the competition, and put them out of business... i'm pretty sure these words were exchanged durring the 40-60's. but i'm not sure when or who said them... if someone knows plz post the quote correctly and date
