Wasn't me :duck:

Actually, Dreamhost had experienced some DNS-related problems last night. They're continually patching and updating their servers, and, well, sometimes things just don't go as planned. The actual message from them follows:

DNS Issues

June 21, 2006 at 3:11 pm PST

We had some errant updates to our apache webservers which resulted in a few domains receiving the wrong IP. We are updating those now with the correct IP which should be completed within the next two hours. With the maximum time to live on DNS of two hours that means everything should be working within 2-4 hours at most.

Update Thu Jun 22 01:43:55 PDT 2006: The time estimates above have shown to be inaccurate. The updates are taking much longer to run than first expected. However, we have taken some steps to speed up the remaining ones as much as we can. We are expecting the updates to finish sometime late this morning.

We had notified them of the problem with C&G at 10PM last night (once it was clear there was nothing on our end wrong), and they replied around 12AM saying it would be fixed the next time they made their DNS changes "official" (usually in 2-4 hour cycles).

We apologize for the inconvenience.

So that's why I kept getting this message:

Couldn't get my C&G fix all day yesterday. :D

Well, I for one, thank you for C&G being down... :D Closed doors lead to other open ones. Haha...
