BMW previewed the 2018 X2 at the Detroit Auto Show as a sportier, lower-slung alternative to the X1, built on the same front-wheel-drive-based platform but with a fastback roofline and M Sport exterior as standard equipment. Powered by a 228-horsepower TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed automatic, the X2 was offered in sDrive28i and xDrive28i configurations, with the M Sport X package adding aggressive body cladding and unique interior stitching. The gallery showcases the X2 in Galvanic Gold and Misano Blue, covering exterior, interior, engine, and cargo details from the model's Detroit debut.
