The 2019 Hyundai Elantra received a significant mid-cycle refresh that gave the 6th-generation sedan a bolder identity inside and out. Up front, a redesigned triangular cascading grille and revised LED headlights replaced the more conservative face of the original model, while the rear gained a full-width reflector strip connecting updated LED tail lamps for a wider, more cohesive look. Inside, a redesigned dashboard brought a larger touchscreen, revised HVAC controls, and more standard technology across the lineup. Power comes from a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder in SE, SEL, Value Edition, and Limited trims, with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in the Eco and a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in the Sport.
