    Yes. Torque rises over engine RPM, but at the same time, torque ratings do not take into account the torque multipliers of the gearbox and rear axle. Both of those provide huge multiples, but torque at the wheels in first isn’t something commonly (or ever) rated. The worlds of IC torque and EV torque (at LAUNCH) is a lot closer than people think.
