Drained the rest of the fluids out & took the heads off today. Nothing of note in the bore other than some old carbon. Wiped them clean, hammered on each piston with a wood block/hammer, squirted them up with plentiful Kroil, hammered again, tried turning but nothing. Will let soak.

Same as all the rest before it; drive it until it breaks irreparably.

So then since your adding the unreleased EQS to the list (European production for China does not count since they have not shipped yet there or here), lets as @surreal1272 stated the Audi and Lucid, plus since we are covering models that are stated to do 400 miles and yet are not released. Rivian, Ford, GMC, Chevrolet just to mention a few more that have been announced, have mules out and about and will go into production and be out in 2022. Seems lots of 400 mile BEVs will be available.

My cousin (the hoarder) picked up an ‘03 mercedes 2-dr, paid $1000. I again laugh as I got a ride in it; just as much cheap plastics and plood as anything from the era. This one is beat to shit; suspension banging and crashing, radio hammering like a woodpecker, trans slipping, large swathes of hand spray-painting on the body… but the A/C works! ? ?

No. The Audi A6 and Lucid Air both will. You really need to educate yourself.

Bit of a pickle : with engine stuck I cannot easily disconnect the transmission. Need to rotate the flywheel to disconnect from torque converter.... no rotate-O. Going to have to basically completely disassemble the engine and try to manual work the pistons free.

Because they can get a Model 3 or Y for cheaper and the Model S is old. I think Model S could use a bigger update than it got, the did a mid cycle refresh a few years back, and when it was time for a new one, they did another mid cycle refresh. Personally I hope Mercedes buries Tesla the way they did most of the other luxury brands. I am not a Tesla fan. I am just being realistic that it isn’t going to be so easy. The Tesla Model S does it now, the Mercedes EQ S will do it. End of list.
