    Weddings....

Uhhhhhhhhh...the reception is the all-expenses-paid meal. Unless they had Cracker Barrel cater it with a Kroger wedding cake, I'd say you f@#ked up by skipping out on it.

    Pictures!

Uh-huh. Blue eyes are so...Aryan. I'm lucky with my greens...because they aren't just green. They're blue, green, hazel, or almost brown, depending on the seasons/day. They've definitely tended to be more and more green/blue, though, as time goes by. I remember them being more consistently hazel a decade or so ago...
  3. I love DIOYY? like no other. Soooooooooooooo good.
  4. It's plastic pretending to be cheese. It even comes in an aerosol can. So gross.
  5. I actually haven't had any cheesesteak. My best friend's from Philly, and he goes on and on about what makes a good cheesesteak, why I have to try one, etc. and yet...it's a $h! ton of cheese with some low-quality "steak" on a sub bun. Yeah, I think I'll pass. And according to him, Cheez Whiz makes the cheesesteak...that's my only source of info here, some local of South Philly.
  6. How many times have we heard in the last year that GM has ended "business as usual"? Will we get another full-page NYT ad with a written apology, and promise to be better this time as well, or are they going to take that to WaPo?
  7. Yeah...didn't know that. The new song's lyrics are pretty hetero, so I dunno if he's trying to go mainstream or not, but it's a good song.
  8. I just can't get past the Cheez Whiz on those "Philly" cheesesteaks. Philly also has those god-awful "tasty cakes" that just taste like bread marinated in high-fructose corn syrup.
  9. I don't eat chicken sandwiches unless the chicken has been deep-fried, so I don't know if that's how they do it out here or not, but every other sandwich (except maybe the veggie patty) gets toasted, meat included. Getting a "tuna melt" is actually halfway decent.

    Weddings....

If the bride/groom are anything resembling decent human beings, the wedding will NOT include a long-drawn-out church service specific to their particular brand of faith.
  11. ...what does that even mean? I posted the artist/name of a really good song someone just sent me. I don't know $h! about Cazwell, other than this one song. Oh jesus christ...I see what you mean. No, this new one, "Tonight," is way better than this $h!.
  12. ...what?
  13. That profile sketch only looks less droopy because it has a spoiler. Honestly, if the G6 we got were the G6 concept, it would be fine. The main differences were the detailing and obvious thought put into individual design elements.
  14. What Subway do you go to? The hot subs are all oven-baked everywhere I go...hence "toasted."
  15. I will never get tired of the talent from the Cadillac division. GM's best styling IMO has always centered around Cadillac.
  16. Cazwell - Tonight
  17. Ben Folds?
  18. Agreed. I generally like Cash's cover better than the NIN version, and I love NIN.
  19. The adrenaline rush of that near-lapse in driving didn't jolt you into focus?!? Not to be a dick, but I can't disagree with your assessment, given the above.
  20. Zoning out while driving is definitely not optimal.
  21. Palos Verdes, CA. Some woman rents a barge just off the coast and shoots off a bunch of fireworks each year for the neighborhood. Absolutely beautiful, especially with the Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice, Playa del Rey, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, and several inland shows all on display in the background.
  22. Pretty much, but I figured if there was one poster who didn't pick up on it, there are likely others, and unfortunately the "inspiration" thread for this post was locked...and going by the assumption of the likelihood that more than one poster didn't pick up on the humor, but not knowing who, I couldn't really PM effectively.
  23. Just to clarify for the one or two who did not get it, the remark about insta-banning PINGAS meme posters for being "trolls" was a joke, an example of dry humor. I was pretty sure that anyone remotely paying attention since, oh, about 2002 would have figured out that I have a very dry sense of humor, but apparently not. Is PINGAS no longer funny? Oh, absolutely. It is played out beyond belief, as I and numerous other posters have pointed out. BUT--insta-banning PINGAS offenders was just NOT a serious suggestion. I'm well aware that this site has a process of raising a "warning level" in 20% increments, imposing posting approval, temporary time outs from posting, and other wonderful mechanisms to control, censor and subjugate obnoxious posters. And that would be yet another example of my "dry humor."
  24. Absolutely nothing. It has just been years since anything like this was even remotely entertaining to me. I dunno, I guess I never found it to be "funny" to go around trying to be obnoxious and annoying. Not much of a draw for me. No one has ever said "let's cyber" to me, nor have I to anyone. If anyone ever did, I'd probably navigate away, because that's just strange. Well, if it entertains you, then fine, but I seriously just don't understand the draw to acting like a fool on the internet. Just wow.
  25. But what's wrong with you that you would need to go out and harrass people on the internet? Because it seems extremely immature and cowardly to do something like that. It's far more fun to mess with your friends than someone you don't know because strangers don't know you, don't give a $h!, and are just much more likely to be like "oh, here's yet another emotional 12-year-old on the internet, goodbye." You can actually punk your friends and bring it up into the future. You've been at this site for years, but I don't recall your age, if you've ever posted it. If I had to guess, though, I'd say you're prolly around 17? 18?
