I posted one back in 04/05, but I don't need to post photos--I'm much more entertained by the assumptions made about my appearance based on my posts.

Awww, she could be your hag :AH-HA_wink:
  9. This belongs in the politics section.

Then she's a MILF; it's decided. ...unless you drive her away.

50s? No. Over 35--but single, often a divorcee. And do you have children, because one cannot be a MILF without children.

    No Doubt

That's gross. Clean your $h!!!! Ocn: I often take walks before bed, i.e. ~12-1am. Soooo many webs out, and I always feel like there might be something crawling on me for like an hour afterwards. Yuck. But what can you do?

    Damnit.

I understand that, but there are two types of saving: saving to spend, and saving to prepare for future mishaps or unfortunate circumstances. I'm really not trying to rag on you, but you posted a thread the other day about rims for the Cobalt, and now you're looking at an '82 Rabbit. You yourself posted that you had no real need for it, but that you wanted it. I'm at the point in my life where my education is quickly coming to an end, and I really, REALLY need to get a job. Job market for paid positions out here in my field blows right now, and had I been able to secure a paid internship this summer, I would have upgraded to an apartment downtown that offered a few more conveniences for only a couple hundred more per month. But, alas, I was a top candidate, but not THE top candidate for several positions, and I'm trying to figure things out...but I am renewing my lease for another 12 months and saving $6-7k. I hope to have found a job in a year, but if circumstances stay unfavorable, I at least will have something to tide me over for a few more months. No one has a crystal ball, but I don't want to ever be in a situation where I am truly destitute and wishing I hadn't spent so much back when I had money to spend. That's where I'm coming from on this. Your finances aren't my business and I do not pretend to have any real insight into your situation, but I hope you at least consider some of what I'm saying even if you ultimately decide to do otherwise.

    Damnit.

Have you ever thought about, say, saving money in a savings account?
  15. Well, in that case, go for it. With my Aurora, when I got it two years ago, I bought OEM floormats. My wheels already looked good IMO, but if an upgrade would improve the ride/handling, then definitely go for it--that's worth it.
  16. Those sites are fun. One of the Indianapolis news stations added comments to the bottom of the stories online, and they are a riot. One example involved a morbidly obese woman, weighing 750+ pounds, who died and was transported from her apartment via a flatbed because of the logistical complications owing to her, um, rather large frame. Article 1 (Exhibit A) Article 2 (Exhibit B)
  17. Me either. BV, you seem like you aren't planning on keeping the car for the long run; therefore, you should think about upgrades that would net you higher resale value...these don't fall into that category. If you were intending on keeping it for several years, then it would be worth it to you to make it as nice and pleasing to you as possible...but unless things have changed, you seem to post threads on potential new cars as often as the seasons change.
  18. The personalized Schizoid thread, love it.
  19. I like tits on a stick, not tits on a stomach full of butter sticks.
  20. Oh, OK, well that's at least decent. As long as the former "exclusives" don't turn into a complete $h!show I won't be too displeased. So, what are the supposed "better" benefits for subscribership?
  21. I bet she's the reason for the move. Lord knows his taste level is on par with Eurotrash and a cackling, aged Southern tart.
  22. And so now they get opened up, and we're back to square one again. All the TalkingPointsMemo readers posting garbage instead of educated discourse. I mean it was pretty active during the elections, but now there just isnt much to talk about.
  23. Oh, those closed news threads aren't supposed to show up? They've been showing up in View New Posts as duplicates for well over a month for me. I didn't know they weren't supposed to show...and I also wondered what their point was.
  24. No, I feel a little ripped off because not very long ago I paid for an annual subscription for X, Y and Z features--promised as "exclusives" to premium subscribers--that are now being made available free of charge to the entire site membership. On top of that, it appears only one premium member actually contributed feedback to the change. It isn't the money; it's the principle. And why are we letting politics be opened up for the site at large, anyway? There's a reason it was made premium subscriber only in the first place. I don't see the purpose in de-exclusifying it. Change for the sake of change?
  25. Seeing as I only use View New Posts to browse the site, I remembered the thread, but when I must have read it it didn't contain any of the more significant posts I would have voiced concerns about...and it prolly died out before I came back but after I cleared my cookies.
