Subaru News: Spying: Subaru Forester
I'm 6'3" and fit in my Forester (which has a sunroof) with plenty of headroom to spare. I also don't have to move the seat all the way back, it has plenty of travel to spare and leaves plenty of room behind me. That is very surprising as so far every Forester and pretty much every Subaru I have sat in, to get it to fit me at 6'6" tall no one can sit behind me and I am unable to sit upright as I have to have the chair partially reclined. Be interesting to see if this whole downsizing thing continues as they will pigin hole more people into select models as they give up on having full size vehicles.

Subaru News: Spying: Subaru Forester
YAWNNNNN, This company has legendary AWD and will have a solid following for some time, but they consider to downsize the vehicles and nothing they have fits a 6' tall or taller man comfortable. But then the average size of people I guess will keep them alive. Just wish they could actually build some excitement into their cars other than the WRX/STI.

Fiat News: Fiat Looking To Add A Third Model
Driving around Kirkland this weekend, I saw 2 or 3 of these being test driven and have to say they are still BUTT UGLY!!! They are narrow, very tall cars with their donut tires and going around a corner I noticed considerable body roll. They look cheap and the people driving them look uncomfortable in the cramped interior. Not impressed and in regards to their Styling, they need to wake up and find someone that understand the definition as I do not read or hear positive things about the little car. The local Seattle times review was not at all positive about the car.

Cheers or Jeers: 60,000 mile 1929 Cadillac Sport Phaeton Model 341-B
Lovely old car, yet the condition and price made me have to give it a jeers. Sorry, but that is how I feel when it comes to a historical piece like this for the price being asked. Needs to be restored. Good luck with the sale.

Cheers or Jeers: 22,000 mile 1948 Pontiac Streamliner Sedan
Awesome find and for someone wanting to have a piece of history and restore it to mint condition an exception starting point for the price.

Cheers or Jeers: 1948 Buick Roadmaster
I see what you mean Balthazar, but I actual think the head lights work and for the rest of it, I give it a 95% except for the Engine only gets a 65% as there is no reason to have a carb in todays society when you can have a sweet fuel injected beast. To Me the Ramjet would have been a sweet fit, either in 350 or 502 form. The style of the engine would go much better with the body of the car.

Dodge News: No Foolin’ Around: Dodge May Delay Dart Launch Date
Stupif flub by marketing as you should always release on a thursday or friday so you can drive traffic and sales into the floorroom for sales.

Mini News: Production Mini Paceman To Wear Countryman Coupe Nameplate
Yes I think the naming is silly, but everyone seems to be going to silly names or stupid initials.

Gotta say while I wish there was a hybrid now to put Lexus in it's place, this will do as it is really nice. Nice capure Chris.

GM Kills The SRX Plug-In Hybrid.. For Now...
I expect Toyota as well as everyone else to see a slow down by people willing to buy plug in type cars. Hybrids will fill the nich need till technology gets farther ahead to make it a mass market reality or something even better comes along. Personally, we all should have CNG Home Fueling stations and just go CNG for now. This would put a pinch in the Arab pockets.

Industry News: Senators Slam The Energy Department’s Auto Loan Program
SOB Politicians, does not matter what party they are from, they all want to use the programs as punching bags to get their butts back into office where they do nothing. Very sad and pathetic lack of duty to America by the folks that should represent us and cover core repsonsibilities. This does not include giving everything to everyone.
