New York 2012: BMW X1: Comments
I have to say they sound pretty nice. If the picture is what the X1 CUV is to look like, not bad then. Glad to see this will be AWD, but from what I found on the web, it does not clearly state if this will be FWD if AWD is not selected. Any way, I hope Caddilac gets a stylish small AWD CUV. I think there is a solid market for this type of vehicle.

Honda News: Rumorpile: Honda/Acura To Use A 9-Speed Automatic
I will say this, the CVT are an interesting ride when you never hear the shift, it does make some wonder as I have had people comment on it when they drive a CVT for the first time. No shift points needed.

Fumes: 2013 Lexus GS - Resistance
It would be only too funny to call them out in a proper layed out advertising. Acura proclaims this, Lexus claims this, Infiinity claims this. We just want to thank you for recognizing our leading technology since 1988. GM, the proud owner of Cadillac, Buick, GMC and Cheverolet. Building cutting edge technology to safely transport your most important cargo, your loved ones. Stop by a dealer today to explore your options on a Cutting edge automobile to meet your family needs.

Infiniti News: Rumorpile: Infiniti Trademarks Some Names, Possible New Models?
This would definitly put pressure on the other luxury makers to bring in diesels especially if they have a nice high MPG. Just think of the SRX with the 2.8l Duramax in it. That would be a kiler ride.

My feeling on Acura, now there is an old persons car line.

Photography Thread
I have been out many times and realized I had forgotten to take my polarized filter for my lens and have resorted to using my polarized sun glasses to caputure images. Over all not perfect, but for most people's eye, it is darn good looking.

GM News: Where Are The Four-Cylinder Equinox/Terrains?
I have to question the comments on Improved Ford vehicles. I stopped by to help a friend who will only consider Ford and as I walked the lot with him and reviewed all the auto's, there is one common observation on everything from the Cobra's to the HD pickups to the entry level auto's such as focus and fiesta. I notice rusty parts everywhere, breaks, engine components, exhuast, etc.. Now I compare this to GM and Dodge and while you can find rusty parts on all auto builders even the japanease, there seems to be an abundance on Ford products. It comes across as short cut bean counter visuals. IMHO

Brand New Combustion System -- Future of the Pushrod V8
I would think you could take this approach plus use other technologies to come up with a combined package of fuel efficiency plus power that would negate the bloody moron auto mag writers.

Chevrolet News:General Motors Replacing Chevrolet Volt's Charging Cord
+1, GM needs to make this happen sooner and release it with the ELR. It would build great credentials on the street for familes in need of something bigger than the volt.

Looking ahead
Why not look at a hybrid Tahoe or Yukon or even a Hybrid Saturn CUV. Those are all nice rides.

VW News: Rumorpile: What's In Store For The Mk. 7 GTI
Yawn..... I hope they have something more exciting than this when they do show the car, over all, this is very much a none event IMO. While the engine statistics are nice, I have not been impressed with the execution of VW auto's. Every time I get in one I get this cheap feeling.

Fumes: 2013 Lexus GS - Resistance
Maybe the message they were intending was to show they could bundle it all together in one package which in their pea brain might be creating history. Then again,...........

Thank you Hyperv6, the historical info and the pictures are truly amazing. Gotta wonder about the 1942 Blackout, I think you might be onto something for the First Syclone!

Chevrolet News:Impala Leaping Out of NASCAR, Unnamed Model Taking Its Place
Overall size is said to be the same on the exterior with better packaging (read: more room) on the interior. I truly hope you are right, Sadly what has kept me from replacing my 2006 ESV Platinum with a new one is that they LOST interior room on the Escalade, even without a sun roof, I have to tilt the chair back as it does not have the ability to go as low as my current Escalade does and I have to bend my head, plus the leg room is terrible, that damn center stack between the front two seats is wider and eats up leg room for a big guy like me. The dealer where I have bought all my caddy's was shocked to see that I had to recline which I hate and bend my head down due to a lack of room. GM build a tighter quality product with the GMT900 platform, but they did this by giving up interior room. Who ever is using the measuring tape is lying about the interior room.

Chevrolet News:General Motors Replacing Chevrolet Volt's Charging Cord
Agree, Marketing a free upgrade to give better charging performance is the way to go.

AWESOME!!! You Rock The pictures are of amazing quality, I which GMC would realize that there are a bunch of people who want high end Professional Grade Trucks and SUV's without all the Bloody Chrome. I love the black out editions. The busses are pretty cool as current busses seem to have all lost any sense of style, plus why do we have to have seatbelt laws when Buses still do not have them? The second bus I really like, it is the same style of what was used in the movie "A walk in the Clouds" It is amazing to see just how big the plant was at military time plus the military type vehicles they produced. Thanks Hyperv6 for taking the time to scan and post these, they really are amazing to see. I would email GMC and ask why we cannot have style and monochrome paint jobs on vehicles like those black out editions.

Lincoln News: Lincoln To Stick With MK(Insert odd letter here) Naming Scheme
That would be a fun thing to do and bring attention to the total lack of imagination in the auto industry for names. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE BMW, MB, Cadillac, Audi, Porsche, Lincoln, Who else follows the stupid letters or numbers thing. Names always are better IMO.

Lincoln News: Lincoln To Stick With MK(Insert odd letter here) Naming Scheme
Someone made a case in the ivory tower and got to keep their job since they justified this terrible naming scheme. They should have that person get in front of the camera and answer the crazy questions. I agree with everyone Their Naming sucks!!!
