That's called responsive design. If you look at it on a mobile device, the right column goes away and falls in line under the main news feed.
That my friend is an interesting Response of coding. Guess they felt smartphones design was more important than normal web page design. Do not like it but I understand it now that you pointed it out that way.
Thanks Drew!

As mentioned, unread content can be customized to your preference.
Interesting observation, the right side seems to stay static in size be it in Landscape mode or Portrait mode. It really eats up a ton of space on the monitor.

This rocks and I so would love to go do this!
Wonder if they would include the Escalade V when it comes out!

They gave in to no one.
At the time hybrids were very expensive in most all types. Add that cost to an already high price SUV and with gas prices low no one cared. We will see a return of this but low oil prices as it is still trading cheap is not going to spur it. The fact we have higher CAFE coming will as they have no choice. You can kill all the cylinders with out a back up.
GM tried to sell them as technology and to be honest people for the most part were "Cool" till they saw the added price and then said I can do with out it. The many folks here with them bought the dealer demo at a discount to where it made sense.
Lets face it large SUV drivers are not tree huggers or worried about global warming. Selling them higher priced hybrid at the time was like selling beer in a baptist church. Times are changing as are attitudes and the price of technology. This will be revisited at some point and better accepted also priced.
I understand the point your making and know for a fact that the hybrids sold well in the west coast without discounts. Yet GM still failed to market them properly and make people aware of them.
This has been GM's downfall, bring out an outstanding auto, market for a month or two and then move onto something else and forget about it.
I cannot tell you how many people who love their full size SUVs and were not aware GM used to make a hybrid version. Even with the increased cost like a diesel, at least on the west coast, if people were aware of them they bought them.
GM failed and has always failed to proper continue to market auto's after the initial introduction. After all at the price point, many who leased and even those that bought will not trade in in a year or even two but would around year 3 and if they are not having it marketed to them over time, they will forget.
People FORGOT about the Hybrid SUVs due to a lack of marketing.

I think all automakers need to look at offering AWD on all products. No reason to not engineer the platforms to handle this as an option.

Very true, most people are fatter than they used to be, getting up out of a low sitting sedan is not what people want to do when they can just slide their rump in across the seats in a CUV. Taste has gone to fully support this but more than anything, people want space and the sedans do not give it compared to a CUV or SUV. It will be interesting to see how people support EV's like the bolt. Does the spacious interior drive sales or not?

That is awesome, very cool, I had forgot about this plane but did love it too just like my all time favorite Corsair with the wings that make the plan look like it has a W for the complete wing assembly.
Very Cool

Alfa Romeo just does not make sense, how does spending billions that were STOLEN from Jeep, RAM, Dodge, Chrysler well spent when they only sold 376 for the year and a total of 37 for the month of August?

Over all the forum topics are fine, what I am not a fan of is this whole timeline thing that my kids say is a take on Facebook, which I HATE with a passion. I see no value from a business standpoint nor any value from a personal standpoint on the terrible FACEBOOK product. Have no account there and never will.
You want to share pictures with family keep them updated, plenty of superior products based on the cloud that allows you to share and keep informed without all the crap of Facebook or giving them ownership of your postings and dealing with their ad's.
I invite everyone to post screen captures of what they do not like so Drew can then respond and let us know if he can tweak anything.
The timeline is just
I liked the old listing of stories / postings that was much cleaner and easier to read and find. Now I have to scroll down a huge time line that is just not that great on top of being overly busy to the eye's.
Any chance of returning that part to a better listing? I just do not get the time line thing, it is not efficient to me. The old listing always listed the current stuff from top down, so why do we need to know if something was posted in the last hour, day, week, month? Plus there sure is a ton of wasted space on the right even when in the stories, I have that big white area.

GM screwed themselves in the Hybrid of full size SUVs as they gave into oil companies rather than price it as a loss leader to begin to get more sold and get quantity built up to generate long term profits. Those that have the Hybrid Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade love them and how quiet they are.
GM was wrong in their approach of marketing and pushing these rides and only looking at it as a compliance ride.
I think at the proper price point a hybrid or EV truck can sell just fine.

Born and raised on Stevens Pass Washington. Lived just about in every state west of the Mississippi river and back in washington since 1995. Love it here and the greater Seattle area.
Parents born and raised in the Greater LA area, ton's of relatives in MIssouri and a ton of relatives in Germany since both sides are from there originally going back to the 1800's when groups of family started to imigrate to America.

How is his fuel economy with the offroad package?
He still averages in the high 20's, he just got back from a trip with his girlfriend. A week all over the coast of Oregon and then into the mountains around there but on the beach with his jeep and on lumber roads and other places and he over all for the whole trip averaged 27 mpg. He is approaching 100K miles and I have to say pretty impressed with the jeep. At 6'6" tall I am more than comfy in the jeep for long trips.

Patriots Rock no matter how much Consumer Reports say they are junk. My son still has his 2012 and for the most part it has been very stable and it gets well used both on road and off. He has the Off Road Trail Rated package on his mid level Patriot. Never got stuck going off road or up the mountain to ski. Great auto's especially for the price.

My Favorite Concept was the Cadillac 1959 Cyclone!
So is it the nose of the car or the points Drew? After all the Cyclone had the first radar avoidance system if memory serves me correct.
