  1. I umderstand that Blu but uh I just took an old Buick tag-line. What is there current one anyways? I just like that one.
  2. Here since rumor has it that we are getting the Park Avenue, I went ahead and made 3 possible covers for a brochure. Tell me what you think and what one you like best!

    DTS Colors?

I agree with the man above. Oatmeal always was a pretty shade for an interior.

    Death of the V8?

Well said, I don't think some people get it.
  5. They say there is a sucker born every second. They might just be right, nice car but not worth much a $100,000-250,000 yes but not that much.

    DTS Colors?

The DTS is getting a new Red? That is a relief, to here.
  7. Ahh yes the Roadmaster what a fine car indeed. I see alot of older people in very nice area's with them and like 20,000 miles on there 350's!
  8. I just think they are cool looking, but who wants a moonroof in a cargo vehicle?

    Death of the V8?

The Interpid is ugly sorry, I just don't like them. I can't see V8's going anywhere in the near future. Panther is right, and they didn't offer one V8. At least GM did. I hope and think you are just kidding, but to each his own I say. At least it is domestic.

    Death of the V8?

The V8 is not dying with new technology AFM (DOD) it is not going anywhere plus with new 6 speed automatics and I see it staying for a while. I wish my Bonneville was a V8 but I couldn't find one without a moonroof and my wife didn't like the fuel economy. Had the GXP had a 6 spd. auto it prolly would have gotten close to 30! I hope this one ignorant fart with 23 post realizes that a Prius isn't the only answer to are problems. I hope he enjoys spending 5K for a battery pack. I plan to avoid buying a hybrid as long as I can. Because batteries are filled with acid and don't recycle so well now do they... Look at Pontiacs line-up in 2005, Bonneville GXP V8, Grand Prix GXP V8 and GTO V8. Next year they will have a G8 GT V8 and a Grand Prix GXP V8. I doubt they are dying. 1996 was the last year Buick had a V8 and look by 2008 they will have at least 2 in the line-up again. Buick Enclave will get a Super model and V8 along with the LaX and Lucerne too. V8's are not dead, seen a Charger or Magnum R/T lately? Prolly and look for years they made ugly V6 powered Interpids and LHS's.
  11. I just really like, and trust me I hope it is coming over stateside.
  12. The Lucerne with the 3.6L V6 and a 6spd. automatic had me very excited. I hope and would assume the DTS will get the update too, with a 6spd. automatic! I also would assume it would be paired with the Northstar V8 as well! Other news of the Rendevous makes me hope for a new Torrent sometime along with the GN news and a new Regal! That is all great! Seriously GM and Buick might be an exciting place again! Up next PONITAC! The Park Avenue coming in 2010 also has me very excited, but I can't help but imagine the current one wouldn't due just fine!
  13. Yeah but the Camry erases any of his nice cars like the Vette or Stangs. He has 3 Mustangs!
  14. It will be very intresting, I am more of conservative and anti-union (in this day and age) kind of person. I also like a balanced budget... (Haven't had one lately I know!) There was a time when a Union was something that was needed when working conditions, pay and even treatment of workers were poor. Anymore all of those problems have been adressed and when Unions ask for too much a great example of what is happening to GM, they can cripple a strong company. There needs to be a balance sadly with a Union that is hard to come by. The employeer just needs to treat others as they would like to be treated. Obama is very young also, that bothers me aside of that he is hating on Detriot and that doesn't win alot of points with mid-western folks like me. I was taught econ-101 with my father when I was very young. The same basic principals apply. Somethings never change.
  15. I hope it is creditable seriously, I think it is possible given the out-cry of people like us. It is about time GM listens to customers!
  16. I just hope the interior is as good as the showcar in China's is!
  17. 2008 Buick Park Avenue Might Come Stateside! Reaction to the Chinese Park Avenue has made GM reconsider bringing the Park Avenue over to the US. The original plan was to do a full reskin on the car a la Enclave, however GM is now planning to bring the Chinese Park Avenue to America as early as Spring of next year. Built in Australia, their will be a decontented base model starting at around $40k, excluding the luxury features of the top end model. The ultra-luxury model will be offered, with all the features of the Park Avenue sold in China. Finally, GM will have a true luxury car, and suprisingly, it will come from Buick. Base engine for the Park Avenue is rumored to be the 3.6L DI engine found in the CTS, outputting around 300hp. A Super model is possible down the line featuring the new 6.2L LS3 found in the '08 Corvette. Sales for the Park Avenue are expected to be around 20K units per year. Bringing over the Chinese Park Avenue would be a stopgap move until a Zeta based Buick specific replacement arrives sometime in 2010, starting in the $30ks and replacing both the Lucerne and the Park Avenue sourced from Holden in Australia" Park Avenue Via GM Insiders
  18. Give me a DTS Performance or a the 2008 CTS!
  19. Don't get me wrong I love the current, GP but the new G8 has me drooling already. I might own a GP GXP someday because they will be cheaper than a G8 GT. But you never, know my one complaint was to keep the name GP or call it a Bonneville!

  21. Yeah that is true... Here is his garge... 1968 Chevrolet Corvette (327 4bbl. Auto) 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (350 4bbl. 4spd) 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 (351 4bbl. Auto) 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 (302 4bbl. 4spd) 1972 VW Bettle Droptop (4spd) 1995 Ford Mustang Droptop (V6 Auto) 1998 Chevrolet Astro AWD Conversion Van (4.3L V6 LOADED) 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Touring Edition (2.4L Auto) 2002 Pontiac Sunfire Coupe (2.2L Auto) 2007 Toyota Camry LE (2.4L Auto) Look at those cars and look at the only one that looks outta place. I think its the Toyota, most everything eles is domestic of a classic car!
  22. I like the second white one but want it in blue, the white is just okay. I don't need a moonroof on a cargo wagon. But I would take a 5spd!
  23. Windy 57 got that one right. Congress as always and the gov't are taking the easy way out blame it on manufactors especially the "Big Three!"
  24. I can't wait till GM releases more pre-production pics!
  25. Yeah Detriot should have been doing this for years now I agree... But Obama is just taking a low-blow to get more votes from him. It is always easy to point out what is wrong, then give a suggestion on how to make it right. I personally have never liked the man, just like the media he is jumping on the I hate Detriot band-wagon. But if it helps win him some points that is great too. Toyota hasn't had that much foresite they just brought the stuff they have been giving Japan for years and brought it over to the US. I never cared for Obama but this was the nail in his coffin. He prolly drives a Toyota anyways. I almost would rather see Hillary get the nomination!
