551 Zeta Delayed
They need to keep building the current Impala until its Zeta replacement comes out. I just would love to see 6 spd. auto's standard in all of them. This happend with the old Impala for the first 3 or 4 years sales kept increasing year to year. Go figure.

New Camaro Questions
I am thinking one V6 and two V8's.

Tundra ad
I have always been a sucker for somewhat goofy patrotic ads. I like Chevy's ads and dis-like Toyotas.

Chevy grows some....
I hope the new Accord sells like nuts despite be ugly unlike the last few generations. The Camry is ugly too, and now I have to decide what one is uglier... I want to say Accord but I have always had a passionate hatered for Camry. Hmmm at least I like the new Malibu.

GM's silly engine covers...
My 3400 has no engine cover and I think my 3800 cover is alot nicer looking the "pops" for the intake are pretty cool.

2007 Lucerne CXL 3.8 hesitation
Congrats on a great car, the Lucerne's are excellent vehicles and are top notch in quality. The only suggestion I have is try doing the same kind of thing at the same speed but in 2nd gear. Don't worry you should be able 80mph out of second, I can in my Bonneville. Sometimes just running and winding 'em up is the best to clean 'em out seriously. Some say its an old myth I believe it to be true. I have never noticed it in my 2005 Bonneville SLE with a 3800 Series yours is a Series III although very similar. I have never had that happen mine only has 15,000 miles on it tho. Good Luck I hope you get your problem fixed and keep enjoying your wonderful Lucerne CXL. They are an excellent car!

New Camaro Questions
Although someone will put an aftermarket LS-9 in it tho. Seriously I doubt they will have 2 six cylinder motors for it. I would bet it would be something like this. Camaro Trims: LS V6, RS V6, Z28 (baby V8), SS (big V8). I think having 4 motors and two of them six cylinders is highly unlikely. The volume model would be the baby V8 I would think. Mustangs are heavily fleeted with V6's but most people that have a hard-top Mustang around me have a GT with a V8. As for the Vert's it is more 6's traditionally. Camaro buyers traditionally wanted more guts and most later years tended to get a 5.7L LS1. Just my view.

GM's silly engine covers...
Seriously either way it is not a big deal. If you have one you don't like take it off.

Next Impala... Prolly... With Photos and story!
I know it was a few weeks ago I just yesterday realized where the photo came from and that it was for real. I know Ted its old news but uhhh still pretty cool, it cannot be a Volt because it doesn't have the glass that drags below the door line where the doors run. I know it is really hard to tell coupe or sedan. Who cares so long as it is good looking right?

New Saturn Ad Tagline
The G8 has an American powertrain no question there. As American as your Grand Prix or my Impala? Maybe not but they were made in Canada. That is not very American... No my Bonneville is as American as you can get so is you '69 Custom-S.

Tundra ad
I think it was a 100lb trailer or something they can use false advertising and I am not sure of the punishment in this case.

GM's silly engine covers...
My 3800 Series II Cover on my Bonneville has padding, and the plastic is well finished and isn't to bad. It does have the pad tho. I can do a photo tomorrow if you want... To sleepy tonight to go out and do it.

2008 Chevy Truck Ordering Guide
So no six speed? $h! they can't keep putting that off.

Production G8 nose in Red
Yes but it comes down to a styling thing. I am not a nut about hard or soft plastic. Seriously it just has to "look nice". The LX cars have somewhat hard plastics, I have test driven a 2006 Magnum R/T and loved the car even liked the interior. But personally I think the Impala interior is just as nice. Actually nicer.

New Saturn Ad Tagline
As long as it moves vehicles, I could care less.

Production G8 nose in Red
Just a mean face to me is taking the easy way out for designers. "Just give it a bad-a$$ face..." Isn't always the way to go, I find the Charger refreshing and would take it hands down over an Accord or Camry any Impala model except the LT3/LTZ/SS or GP GXP/GT. But uhh seriously the interior is decent but nothing to write home about. I like the DTS/Lucerne/Impala interior more... The GP rates about the same in my book.

GM's silly engine covers...
My "cover" on my 3800 isn't that bad of quality. I would like it to have some color I am just leaving as is.

SPY SHOTS! Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
No those are just stock 18's that are chromed for the factory. Nothing special or different.

G6 Eps. 2 release date
I think he is right and for all practical FWD volume purposes a FWD G6 makes sense.

Next Impala... Prolly... With Photos and story!
Ahh let the photos do the talking... I know it has been posted and someone said it was in the Camaro design studio/zeta one. They were right here is my final attempt to prove it. I wouldn't be the Volt either, although looks similar. A FWD Hybrid would not be a in RWD V8 Studio in Warren MI would it? I think we just caught our first look at what could be the next Impala. Or as I say busted!
