  4. I busted the mirror assembly on the Suburban once. It's heated, electrochromatic, and has the turn signal in it. The dealer wanted 450 for the glass alone and I can't remember for the assembly. I bought it all on ebay for about 200 bucks, so I would say that you should look there first.

  18. I never saw this way back when, but yeah I did get it at BB, but I got it up in Grand Forks, because I knew a chick that worked there that bought it with her discount....gotta love screwin over BB. I do know a few of the guys that work at the Fargo BB, I worked there for a few months during high school.
  19. I'm headed out to the lake for the weekend. It is supposed to be sort of crappy out thhere until sunday at some point and then it will start getting nicer. Monday should be clear skys and 75, but it will be an enjoyable weekend none the less. Some of my friends are coming out on sunday, and we'll see what kinda stupid trouble we can get into. Have a great weekend everyone!
  20. I never got a chance to take any pics of the car after the wreck, but I already got paid by her insurance company and the car is back to normal. They ended up paying for 85% (they try'd to give me 70%, until i damn near made the lady cry over the phone) of the damages, which amounted to about 1225 based on the estimate that they came up with. I took it up to a body shop just across the border into Canada. They do great work and are very reasonable. Ended up costing me 1100 canadian to get it fixed, and I didn't have t pay any tax on it, so i ended up pocketing about 200 bucks through the whole deal.
  21. So....I guess this kinda advertising really does work. My cousin Tana just bought a 2006 H2. She is a doctor, and just made the last payment on her student loans, and the car she had been driving was creaping up on 150,000 miles so she was in the market for a new vehicle. She and her husband came down here to Fargo to look at the local dealers, so I went with her. She was thinking she was going to get a Tahoe or an Escalade becuase they needed something bigger for their 2 younger kids. As we were headed over to the dealer, her son Morgan saw the arches and started yelling that he wanted some Mcnuggets, so she pulled in to get him something to eat, hopeing that it would keep him happy while we were looking around. She got him a happy meal, with a Hummer, that gave her the idea. She said, I never thought about a Hummer, her husband, Max imediately chimed in about the gas mileage that you would get with a H2, but to be honest, it really wasn't his decision, she works and he stays home with the kids, so she pays the bill and she was going to get whatever she wanted. We test drove an Escalade ESV, a Tahoe, and an H2, she picked the H2, not becuase she thought it was the best out of the 3 (because it was a tough choice between the slade and the H2 for her) but she liked the idea that not everyone has one, and that it is somewhat unique (at least up here). Her husband ended up being pretty excited about it, since he is an avid outdoorsman and will most likely be taking it on hunting trips where a Hummer might actually be needed, instead of just driving back and forth to work like she will be using it for.
  22. I like the look of the GMC's grill....it's no longer smiling at me
