  1. Help me understand what? I do believe the the Burban' and Yukon (XL) will live on..... But there is not going to be enough "poser" sales to keep the Tahoe/Yukon twins alive... The Trailblazer is dead....and the Tahoe is not that far behind........ I'd willing to bet on that one.... And as for moving to a new platform...I'm thinking not. They'll end up replacing them with different models....
  2. I've had good and bad luck with Sensatracs... They were great on my first cavalier, but sucked pretty bad on the Neon.... I wonder hoe the sensatrac would compare with the KYBs....
  3. Oh, it is not the brands-they came brand new with the car. I'm just not inpressed on how the GM parts held up....so I have been looking into the after market. I is just a matter of knowing what brands come from where- and getting good, long lasting parts for her car......
  4. That really sucks Cory....I hope he has a speedy recovery.... And I agree with everyone else-kick his butt! Was he getting off work?
  5. Well, try to do something fun...
  6. Not bad...

  8. I wonder if the ride will be the same with KYB struts? Or a bit more sporty? How good are NAPA struts? (I've had good luck with the batteries/filters..) I do see that I have a good choice in brakes....
  9. Why do you say that? The Burban' should stick around, as it still has use in the market... The other three are gone.....

  11. QUOTE (gm4life @ Oct 27 2008, 02:22 PM) So true... Now lets kick some a$$. Run!
  12. Within the next few months, I plan to do some "update" work on my cars... Her Cavalier will be getting new Shocks/Struts, Brakes/Rotors, and new tires..... I've been debating about going with GM (dealership) parts, or more aftermarket ones. I'm really looking for stuff that is going to last, and I have been disappointed in how long the car's current stuff is holding up.... - Both struts and shocks are pretty rough for 45k -this will be the second pad/rotors in 40k (though it is common for the 03-05s) Should I stick with the same, or change?
  13. Ah, I understand...... I'm planning to keep the Balt pretty much stock, though I would like up upgrade a little bit.... I'm planning to to the same with the Wife's Cav..... Though CSS.net is a pretty good source of info......
  14. QUOTE (fightingbee @ Oct 27 2008, 12:57 AM) I did have some Honda Del Sol driving ricer kid once tell me my '96 Saturn was cool becuase they're really Japanese cars. I had to remind them that with only one small exception years ago Tennessee was indeed still part of the US and what "95% domestic content" means. Interesting... I've seen someone mistake a customer cavalier for a civic....
  15. Still? I figured you would be at 2.99 by now.....
  16. smelly
  17. I don't know...the v6 doesn't look bad to me....
  18. Why? (just curious)
  19. That would be nice....
  20. Let's hope that they get something cool....
