  1. The Astra will be at chicago..and not sure about the Cobalt...
  2. A lot of Ipods I see... I've noticed that some people have at least one Mp3 player..I honesty, I'd like both...maybe like a 2gb sensa, and a 4-6gb Nano.... Though I just found out Apple has a few new models rolling out soon...
  3. ME! ME! My parents are going shopping (replacement for the Astro) I just wanna go anyways, even if my cars aren't there. (Refreshed Cobalt Saturn Astra) I'm hoping for the first weekend too...
  4. Worse come to worse, park it in the garage while fixing it up....
  5. Sweet. I don't it will cost more than a few hundred to do everthing you need to get done.... One thing I thought of though-check those hoses! I'm going to need to replace one myself here pretty soon... They can fall apart over time... This way you don't have to worry about leaking coolant....
  6. anyone else? I expected more votes for the Ipod... Good to know that the sensa is well liked though...
  7. Just make sure you get the rust off, and cover it up good. I can't think of the name at the moment, but there is a primer/spray that will help protect it....
  8. Depends if you plan to do it yourself or not. If the rust is light, you could do it pretty easy...guessing with 20-25 bucks in supplies.. As far as the cover job-not too bad. That depends on the shop..and what they need to replace...checj around...
  9. I'll have to read up then...
  10. Now that is cool...tunes in the go...
  11. Love those F-bodies..... The red one is quite nice...
  12. I want that Biuck....Now! wonder if it is an auto...a great sunday drive car...
  13. I've been looking at them the last few weeks..and it's come down to two. I pod nano Sandisk Sensa (video ot stick) I need it more for the music than anything, so the extra stuff is no big deal. I'm leaning a bit toward the sensa because it has a FM tuner, and you can add memory.... Opinions? Ideas? Yours on fire right now? I'm listening...i need to learn more....
  14. Being the owner of that generation of Cavalier, what do you want to know? (I have that 93 tealish wagon we all like to make fun of... ) Anyways, looks to be in decent shape... Very little rust..Good-though these cars tend to rust..alot. If you buy it- keep it CLEAN. Get the cover fixed..it will do wonders.... 2.2s of those years are very hard to kill..they will hold up to a lot. A co worker has a 92 and it just passed 200k.... very slow...can get out of it's own way though... any other questions, just ask...
  15. Fun to drive..
  16. Yeah, yeah, I know.. :AH-HA_wink: and they don't rust...another plus... I'm really thinking that the replacement for the wagon is going to be an S-series... Though I'd pefer one with an air bag (95+)
  17. None. But I saw lots of old friends this week...so at least I got to drink a little bit... :AH-HA_wink: Don't drink much at all anyways...
  18. Ford Tarus- Short of trans issues, I still see quite a few on the road... 95+ Cavalier/Sunfires- Good motors, many still on the road. As long as you don't find the whole dash moving as annoying.... Crown Vic/ GM- funny how people make fun of them until they drive one...long lasting..cozy.... Saturn S-series-no Hp, but easy to abuse, motors will go past 150k pretty easy.... I'll come back with more...
  19. O2 sensor...Map sensor.
  20. Hmm...not sure about the clip thing... temp sensor? Car's temp seems to be fine at the moment... Coil back? Hmmm...possible...
  21. not soon enough...
