Tell an Ontarian that us Western Canadians are the "Real Canadians" and they may end up lecturing you about our history, aka, beaver pelts, beaver hats, beaver tail, beaver traps, the ethical implications of beaver traps, the Hudson Bay Company buying beaver pelts... and John A. Macdonald... ...and somewhere in there, you will realize that everything that is Canada is historically Upper and Lower Canada (Ontario and Quebec) and the Maritimes. The West in general has better scenery, better economies (Alberta & B.C), and is often pretty pissed off politically, but the "Real Canada" is in the center.

Guess it'll be ok, but I doubt Citroen will get much play outside of Quebec, especially towards my way, where the French aren't exactly looked upon with much fondness for a variety of reasons...

The H1 just wasn't practical for civilian use, and just became a joke. Even the Terminator (ArnySchwarz for those of you less pop culture inclined) has thinned out his HUMMER models, down to two... one of them being the Hydrogen model. I'll also say once again that HUMMER could use a GMT-900 truck. Throw in the Duramax, give it the capability and the looks and GM will have a nice addition to the line. However this thing looks kinda of strange, but I'm sure it'll look great when the camo is off. Still, I'd love to see the two-door model go into production... that one was bad-ass.

Now didn't Kirk try the same thing with Chrysler? He then ended up taking them to court, only to get laughed out of it? Like I said before... if this guy had GM's interests in mind, he wouldn't give up like this, pull his main man on the board and declare he isn't buying more stock. The old guy's gettin' older and still trying to get richer. I hope Wags gave him a theoretical "one between the eyes" with this situation. Maybe Kirk will realize that maybe he's wealthy enough, and should begin to maybe use some of his cash to better the world.

The guy is showing his true colours. He's a corporate raider, simple as that... and a big baby of a fossil. If he really wanted to save GM, he'd blow off the failed Renault-Nissan idea and try and find another way or method to help... not give up and throw a hissy fit.

Spin off Chrysler?! I doubt it. There is so much potential in Chrysler that Daimler could exploit. Like them or not, the LX cars are products of thinking outside the box and gave the sedan world bold and brash design. That being said, I think they've gotten complacent or lazy. Look at the Jeep Compass. Yes it'll sell, but it ain't going to win any design awards soon. Chrysler Aspen, anyone?
