I'll kinda rephrase what I meant... She seems set on the TL, snd is rejecting pictures of other vehicles. It's time for some "shock and awe..." Find some badass pictures of the CTS or LX cars and show her those. If she doesn't respond, well, she's lost to us all.

The Acura TL is a very good car, and would be a good buy... providing the price is right for your family. However, for the sake of buying Domestic, maybe show her some polarizing designs... Chrysler 300 or other LX vehicle?... Maybe a CTS?... Sounds like she only likes her vehicles based on looks, and these may sway her. Not to mention that she'll be a total dude magnet if she drives an LX car.

I see quite a few of these CSX's on the road, and although I think they are dumb, I can see why people buy them. The powerplant is derived from the RSX, it has a few other goodies that the Honda doesn't, and it has the Acura nameplate... something that holds some prestige in my area. That being said, this car has made me wonder on a couple occasions if some journalists are being a little hypocritical. GM gets blasted for badge engineering their small cars, and Acura gets off almost scot-free. That being said, GM's rebadged vehicles are pretty much identical, with little to no differentiation. I suppose if GM took its Delta architecture, gave it a new power plant, threw in a ton of options, beefed up the interior quality, and a gave it a fun to drive suspenion, and called it a Buick or something, then maybe there'd be less criticism.

That's why I make a point to mention to every Prius driver and person who believes that Toyota is the only company that cares for the environment, that Toyota also manufactures gargantuan SUV's that get pretty piss poor fuel economy when compared to GM. It often shuts them up, right there and then. Others argue, but I just pwn 'em with more facts ... dealer reps included.
