i fap in a new place out of the house, daring to be afraid.
eleanor roosevelt said you should do something every day that scares you and i think i've sufficiently scared a nearby senior aquafit course.

it is funny that the first insight was so polarizing in appearance, and the first prius was relatively conservative, and now the roles have swapped

I get the weirdest random music stuck in my head sometimes. Today it's the underworld theme from Super Mario Bros 2.
based on certain contributors, C&G's theme should be this:

the 1.4 turbo is amazing in the 500 abarth, and begs the driver to peg the boost gauge. in the roadster format, the engine is eeeeeeeh, and having an automative doesn't help at all.

the focus rs is a dumb car at its asking price and i'm surprised people are buying them at all when the golf R exists, especially since ford dealers are marking rs' so ridiculously.

the prius v is a car without a market. the prius c's compact dimensions make more sense for city dwellers, and suburban types gravitating to crossovers would choose the hybrid RAV-4.
prius v's do make excellent taxis though, and toyota would be smart to have the vehicle available for livery purchases.

LOL look at this thread AFTER an admonishment from Drew aimed toward me... amazing, and typical of leftists.
i like the guy whose entire house cost less than my car calling people 'leftists...'

That's the brand my Eco warrior neighbor bought and recommended to me when we were talking about me tossing the gas mower.
i have this ego mower and it's incredible. i've managed to mow both my rental properties, and front/back home lawns on a single charge. one time the battery nearly died out on me but i brought the charger, plugged it in while doing 15 minutes of edging and it was ready to go. highly recommended.

are people really taking the guy whose claim to fame was removing cladding from the Avalanche and who came up the following vehicle seriously?

Nah the electric version has no range. And charging times are too slow. Plus the combo of no range along with scant charging infrastructure and slow charging times will keep smart people out of electrics for the foreseeable future.
yet charging times have significantly reduced, range has improved and infrastructure is being built out. just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not happening.
the only thing that moves faster than my tesla is your goalposts...

We'll this is a no brainer, how can one expect a person to take over control of an auto when they have not been paying attention the whole time to what is going on around them. Common sense or a lack of one at Waymo. Crazy Alphabet / Google Peeps.
this was common sense... Waymo's engineers very likely knew how it'd turn out this way, but then they wouldn't have the data needed to counter concern-trolling luddites who'd insist that the machines are out to kill us

coupon codes would be great.
in fact, i'd be okay seeing more sponsored content, where say, detailing products are reviewed and a kickback/coupon code is available if the product is liked.

eeeeeeeh i'm happy for local manufacturing but the solo i checked out felt too 'kit car' and msrp's at a price similar to an off-lease 500E or used nissan leaf, each with 30 - 40%% more range.
it gets tonnes of attention though so that's something.
