Turkey! Cranberries! Firebird Formula 400!
Yes, ocn, I saw my beloved '75 Cutlass Supreme coupe. I've actually seen it a couple of times lately. It is Cranberry Metallic (really, the name for dark red that year) and has a white landau top and white (swivel) bucket seats. The problem: it had the bling wheels and a couple of bruthas driving it, blasting their 'effin music. I would have much rather seen a stock one...with the windows rolled up.

Did McCain lose your vote....
I'm very perplexed on the whole thing. Right now, I'd take Hillary, if she had a decent running mate...and I hate her. Point 1 - that's right, even W went to Harvard...W went to their B-school and O went to their law school. Point 2 - it crosses my mind every now and then, too...look at the funky Chrisitian church he hooked up with. Sidebar: I'm walking into Mass on Sunday and there is a Mexican contingent in the parish...as "Anglo" as I look, they were speaking Spanish...I heard them say something like "if Obama wins, there will be 'amnestia' (you know, Spanish for amnesty)" ... just great, just great...

Styling trends - short rear deck lids
As I see the new Lexus (help me out on the model number), the Maxima/Altima and now the 2010 LaCrosse, I think the short stubby rear deck lid is, for the most part, hideous. They are sedans, not fastbacks. Not only that, it makes most of the trunk hidden, whereas with a "normally" proportioned rear trunk lid, you can actually look down at things from eye level and move them in, out or around. Maybe, in a rare instance, they might be ok, but mostly they are not ok in my book. Your thoughts/vote?

Did McCain lose your vote....
For me, the answer is: absolutely I can't even fathom Palin and her family in Washington, let alone running the country if that should ever come to pass... I vote Republican about 1/2 the time, Dem the other 1/2....I was set to vote for McCain, but was waiting to see how he would round out his ticket...NOT.

"POLARIZING" DESIGN
True, some people want the polarizing design. Look at the early PT Cruiser buyers and all the "dudes" in Dakota/Ram trucks. However, the quality issue cannot be discounted. When they gave me a Sebring convertible 4-cyl as a rental when they ran out of the economy cars and I saw what that cost versus my new LaCrosse, I thought "NFW" - no 'effin way. It was a $ 25,000 lawn mower with piss-poor build quality. GM = Great Machines
