  2. Yeah, baby, much like the motto: "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Sorry, couldn't resist. I only saw the headlines on MSN and scanned it but, for a grown adult to be THAT insecure, it sounds like HE (Hardaway) has issues.
  3. Ditto. Man, that's some insight. All that was going through my head was "ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching" .... a whole lot of money .... and even I though I get a decent paycheck, I'm one of the cheapest people on this forum. $ 1.75 for a Coke or $ 4.00 for a beer? That's how I process things.

  5. A really good friend of mine from college (no longer a friend) and I used to proclaim: VAAAHHHHN HAY-LENN..... FUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK.... (said a la Jeff Spicoli from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High")
  6. Wow, 76CT, you have a lot of integrity. You took a civil approach and then defended yourself when they got unruly. I'm glad you were alone and not with the wife and daughter, for their sake. These guys were jerks and probably cowards who wouldn't have acted that way toward that lady if they were alone. Having seen your picture, I'm not your size, being about 5'-10" with a medium build, so I would have picked up my cell phone and dialed 911. I hope you're ok.
  7. Me? I want to know her bio....what did she study, what is her experience (non-sexual, that is) and why is there a discrepancy between her and that German guy Franz getting the credit for the Solstice? Reality check: most likely, none of us, no matter how we look and how much money we have, will get within 2 states of her vagina...so put your tongues back in your mouth...I already have. Reg, you need to learn to do the same.

  12. You always appear to be knowledgeable. On GM systems, how does this work? Isn't it an assembly up in the front of the engine, near the pulleys, that acts as the phaser....I mean, its just a spherical disc or gear with teeth/grooves that makes this happen. Now, is the electronic system that runs this tied into the engine management system such that, if this thing were to start acting goofy, it has a fail-safe, limp-home mode where the engine still functions as it needs to but the valve lift falls back to a "baseline" as in an engine that did not have this? I understand the concept. I just don't understand what mechanical items make the valve lift duration change? Is it really that necessary for improved performance and efficiency? Driving Chevy products with pre-VVT engines and post-VVT engines, I can't tell THAT much difference.

I am afraid to ask who weighs more. Care to share?
  17. I was thinking about this today. Her baby daughter might benefit -- she will have oodles of money and won't have to be raised by Anna Nicole. Is that so bad?

Well put. This usonia guy is smart. PB, you don't need to tell her anything and it sounds like she's prying in a way. All it will probably do is set her imagination going and what's the point in that? For example, I don't want to know about my friends' sexual foibles - straight, gay... or anything in between, for that matter. That's none of my business and not what our friendship is based on. If they feel compelled to tell me, I will listen. But, generally, it's not an interesting subject.
