  1. Well, let's analyze the list, TYD. Them: Cute - regarding me: I'd like to think I'm ok-looking Them: Slender - regarding me: 10 lbs over, evenly distributed, about 2 months work to get rid of it....also, if they are overweight, my "equipment" doesn't work Them: Unmarried - regarding me: single Them: Childless - regarding me: childless, don't want to help someone raise their mistakes Them: Educated - regarding me: have 2 masters, I'll settle for a bachelor's degree in aything just so I can see some commitment to getting a university education Them: Speaks Italian, optional, really - regarding me: I speak it and enjoy it ... it would be a common interest I don't think there's anything here out of bounds. I have had overweight, undereducated, divorced women with kids, typically in admin. roles, hit on me at places I've worked and I can't RUN fast enough. No thanks.
  2. yuck (Tyne Daly = yuck exponential)
  3. Does he have any cute, slender, unmarried, childless and "university" educated daughters who speak Italian?
  4. Can you spell C-O-U-P-O-N ? Usually it's Great Clips, followed by Fantastic Sams. Supercuts doesn't seem to run any specials. Story along the same lines as yours: This one girl in Portland once cut my hair. She was an attractive green-eyed, auburn haired chick from one of the towns south of Portland. I remember she was married. About a year later, I called that Great Clips looking for her as I wanted her to cut my hair. They said she was working at another Great Clips in the metro area, so I went there. Well, she was there...but I couldn't recognize her. She weighed about an additional 50 to 70 pounds. I was speechless. During the conversation, I asked her if she had kids (trying to see if there was a recent pregnancy). She told me she had a 7-year old daughter. I thought: STOP SLAM DUNKING THOSE OREOS
  5. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
  6. No, I'm not odd...you just have a short memory. I once posted (to which you laughed) a comment that the name Brenda (as in Priddy) reminds me of a husky-voiced middle-aged cocktail waitress in Vegas or Reno who is itching for her smoke break. I've never known an interesting, polished or intelligent girl named Brenda. Ever. In fact, if you need audio....think DELILAH...that skanky radio personality that is syndicated on certain stations that primarily women call up to make their sappy requests to which she phonily tries to seem concerned and supportive. The whole time I'm thinking: Competent radio personality or white trash husky-voiced cocktail waitress? White trash husky-voice cocktail waitress it is! DELILAH is a "Brenda." Not odd...just opinionated as hell. But then, aren't you?
  7. I would love to see it. I am a BIG ocean liner fan, having sailed on the QE2. Thinking about the horn blaring, sailing down the Hudson past the WTC and under the Verrazzano bridge at the entrance of NY harbor into the open Atlantic still makes me cream my jeans. (j/k). Experience of a lifetime, though. This one is different from the original in that, rather than a wall of water caused by an earthquake, this capsizing is caused by a rogue wave which do occur, particularly in the North Atlantic. I heard it got bad reviews. People can't even tell me where it geographically took place. And you, reg, can report on the wet boobs you will be feasting on (on celluloid) in detail as can only be described by an architect. Don't let me down, now!
  8. Response to 4: Is the LaCrosse having sales problems? Can someone throw some numbers at this? I'd sure like to see them if someone has stats. Response to 5: 6 speed auto trans *palms sweating.* I remember how much overhauling a THM GM RWD 3 speed trans used to cost as our family has done it, I know how much overhauling a 4 speed GM transaxle currently costs and I shudder to think how much overhauling a 6 speed GM transaxle or transmission would cost.
  9. The only VIP of that level I've gotten to see was Hillary. I LOATHE her. She came to Portland to talk health care reform at the beginning of Clinton's administration. She filled up Pioneer Square. Well, of course, given all the Dems (I hate all politicians and parties, BTW), liberals and dykes that live in PDX, the Rose City, is that any wonder? Well, nationalized health care never came to be, did it? Funny, when I lived in the NW and Bush came to town, protesters were all over the place. These granolafied frumps are so predictable. If granolas are supposedly peace loving, why are they so full of hate? (I mean, I dislike "W" as much as Bill and Hillary, but for different reasons). One time I had enough. At an offramp from I-84 at 42nd, there was an anti-Bush demonstration. As I rounded the corner with the window down, I yelled "Go Bush" (didn't really mean it, but more to see their reaction). This one bearded guy, probably in his 30s, started screaming "F*** you" and other obscenities at me, giving me the finger and shaking his fist. If my car would have been stopped, I am sure there would have been an altercation. Hate seems to unify people doesn't it, as it does with radical Muslims. Bottom line: all politicians are S-L-I-M-Y. Bill and Hillary keep company with rich Dems, entertainment moguls, famous gay guys and Madonna while carrying on with a shell of a marriage. W and Laura keep company with obnoxiously rich Texans. Six, one half dozen or the other, no?
  10. trump (damn, you keep late hours, P)
  11. honey (not you, just trying to rhyme)
  12. I would rather see them build a handful of superb cars and experience a Renaissance a la Cadillac before getting cocky and spreading their wings too much, trying to be all things to all people. If, taking the pulse, it becomes apparent there is some perception change, they can then expand the product line. One of the most dangerous things in corporate strategy is rapid growth because of the toll on cash flow...cash inflows always follow the investment in a project or venture, and if the lags are too long / too pronounced, there is often trouble. I wouldn't wish that on any GM division, particularly Buick, after watching the demise of Olds.
  13. lottery (going to live on the beach in Portugal, see ya...wouldn't want to be ya)
  14. That's perfectly OK, P. It's not Chevrolet or Ford. Many segments/niches are not applicable to Buick. Capisce?
