  1. PB, are you implying that you're "challenged"?
  2. I'm sorry, but the visual behind this one is just too damn funny. And, does one measure from the underside or from above? The geometry is different, you know. It could make a difference.

  4. Someone making fun of Eye-talians? Hey, what are you, aaaantoine, living on Long Island and all? That place is caked with them from what I know. In fact, there is someone with my exact name living in Lake Ronkonkoma. Is that a good thing? It ain't the Hamptons, I know.

Michelins for me. They have always been very reliable and long-lasting. If the car is toward the end of its life cycle, like now, and I am getting tires which I am doing after the 4th of July, then I go for the entry level price at Costco. For my sled, those will be BF Goodrich.

What? To slam dunk some Big Macs and get FATTER?
  7. Yeah, but what the heck is Scatilogio Runnelli? I'm missing something, PB.
  8. role reversal(s)
  9. Martina Navratilova
  10. No. No persecution complex or anything like that as I am NOT one of the more colorful or noticeable people on the board. Still, I was trying to follow that thread and found it gone. So, is it there then? Thanks.
  11. rally wheels
  12. I probably live the closest to it than anybody on here but would pass because of all the N-O-I-S-E...but, if C&Gers go, I could have my arm twisted.
  13. raincheck (doesn't anybody know what an Oedipal complex is? Geez)
  14. Who the hell is that? Or did you make it up?
  15. Oedipal complex
  16. I didn't think it was that hard to understand. I made a comment on a thread about geographics which happened to be where the thread creater lived anyway and my post disappeared. It's as simple as that. When mods strike off benign comments, that's not cool.
  17. Silk(e)y was one of my favorite things on C&G...enough to "bust a gut" laughing.
  18. Moderators need to curb their right to alter or delete posts. Within the last few months, Ninety Eight Regency posted one of his photo parades. I commented on the setting in one photo and said it "looked very Houston TX" (which is where he happens to be from...a metropolis of 4 or so million people). Ninety Eight provided us with some humor in the grandstanding exit/re-entry also exhibited by a few others on here so I get a kick out of such "self-importance." Many people comment on surroundings or backgrounds in people's posted photos. Being that I design buildings, this is reflexive to me. Yet the post was gone. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out which mod axed it. Mods, your actions shouldn't reflect your personal biases.
  19. Try listening to or reading Watergate transcripts...or the way our last First Lady (if you want to use the word "lady") talked behind closed doors...those are our country's leaders and they talk like that. The Lounge is our locker room...as long as the posts remain intelligent on other parts of the forum, I don't think our credibility is lost.
  20. That's why I like you ... standard issue Southern California irreverence!
  21. Doolittle
  22. Are you and BV going to be the co-presidents of the Mute Admiration Society of Pennsylvania (MASPA)? :AH-HA_wink:
  23. What about "Jessica" - I think that was Allman Brothers?! That one pumps out some adrenaline.
  24. WMJ, the first one is 'effin hysterical.
  25. Agreed. I had an 84 Cutlass Supreme Brougham coupe. The only thing I would add is that I liked it better when the twin lamps weren't defined individually. Like in the changeover between the 86 Cutlass Supremes and the 87 Cutlass Supremes.
