Chrysler Sebring
i drove one at the ride and drive. Its ok, but it doesn't distinguish itself in any aspect of performance. I do think some folks will like its unique features and its interior and exterior styling. Its probably smaller than it should have been. Its engine choices are not stellar.

Least Safe Cars of 2007
and there is your case right there for not driving a small car. at least its my case. All the Euro's tell us AMURCHANS, drive smaller cars. we say, we have big trucks on our roads, big semis. We prefer to be safer in case one of them tags us.

regarding the inline 6, i think it would be a fabulous idea to have such a smooth inline in the pickups, but it seems the MPG is not stellar with the inline 6, so that would defeat the purpose of a six? debate. A simple full size truck with the Atlas 6 and a 6 speed manual would be a hoot to drive.

Car And Driver
my guess is nissan flubbed the base sentra for the corolla crowd but the sport SE-R Altima will be whack. i.e. much improved for enthusiasts. you get the feeling GM and Ford maybe aren't even bothering trying to appease the 'enthusiast' mags anymore, because they get beat up so much?

Oct. 2006 Sales: Ford Motor Company
"DOUBLE-DIGIT GAINS FOR NEW EXPEDITION, NAVIGATOR" Ford priced these aggressively, so lower car payments can offset the pricey gas. But, when gas goes up, it would suck. Also, winter is approaching, a time when many look at SUV's for winter driving. Good news. Ford just needs to continue some positive things. shame they are dumping the taurus with fleet volume like that but you can't build em forever. Explorer is stabilzing. Wow, they sell buttloads of Econoline vans.

i totally agree, why is the elentra in it either?

Car And Driver
they would have had to have had a base 2.4 Cobalt SS or a base Cobalt. the SS with stick in sedan is a tough one to find. but it is lame for the mags to use that as an excuse. the focus ST would have been the one to test but can get close to 20k which may have excluded it. the more plebian Foci should have been a dime a dozen to find. A glaring omission to me was the Subaru Imprieza 2.5, it would have been mid pack i think. Its a disturbing trend the buff books have, they don't even review or test or compare the less chosen brands anymore.

2007 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart
it really is the perfect sized car. its not enormous like my 500, yet its got a ton of back seat and front seat room and its wide. I see the new Altima added 3" of rear leg room though so now maybe the Altima is even commodious. around here they advertise lots of cheap leases on the 4 cylinder Galant. Its a good alternative to say, a civic for less money in that regard. But then it basically becomes a chick car / cheap payment shoppers car. It is noticeably bigger than a Malibu, although now Chevy's done well to keep the Malibu's price down.

well, not just that. but the fact they mentioned it so much was annoying. the rabbit was quieter and more refined. the rabbit weighed like 5-600 pounds more than the corolla.
