  1. MONDO cheap lease on them right now. (1k down, 48 mo. 169/mo) just curious. they seem solid, unexciting, cramped. dated. but better than say, an Elantra.

  5. re: Honda....go to autoweek.com and read the test update of the 07 Avalanche. there are some TREMENDOUS jabs at the 9 mpg, can't tow over 55 mph ridgeline.
  6. i doubt this will explode the segment for GM, but it will be another improving car line the general sells.
  7. if he told you, he'd have to .....
  8. agree on the civic comment too. i thought i saw 'huge civic' in one shot.
  9. i thought volvo and phaeton also. although i thought more s60 than s40
  10. dude, you are ON TOP OF IT!!!!! lol time to get that instrument panel first! and the 'plug in hybrid badge' too.......i'm sure they pulled that from Saab so the Malibu could outdo the camry hybrid as being the first plug in
  11. Lustful Leanings autoweek
  12. wait, that article said it was the Impala.......and the front end overhang suggests fwd
  13. the malibu was upsizing to the impala size so the impala can go rwd

    YES!
  16. i see a lot of things an A4/S class/A8 sort of rear gait. a german stance in the rear which is nice. thankfully, they spat in the face of Chris Bangle and didn't try to copy a BMW. a slightly camryish front end shaping an evolution of the currently yecky snout and also a little impala some impala in the green house tsx'ie from the rear 3/4 a tiny bit of similarity to the aura in the door shaping some Lucerne to it the grille shaping is evocative of the CTS the doors themselves look very long which suggest mondo legroom i'll wait till i see a production version. i think it has potential but i am not impressed so far. front end is kinda stubby and chunky like so many new cars these days. at least this car has length to it, which makes it appear much nicer than the current version. at least it looks good. Watch GM f it up with pushrod engines and a cheap interior. THAT will impress me, if they keep the beancounters away from it long enough to put at least ONE DOHC engine with a 6 speed in it and also plastic and dash that doesn't make me wretch. CD/BP...did you get schooled by Hans on this one? GMI got schooled. its not on their site yet from what i can tell.
  17. well, people pay 900,000 for tiny houses out there so spending 80g on a car i suppose is what they would call 'practical'
  18. you don't have enough capital to not get taken over or bought out by GM or Ford if you get big enough
  19. my old navy jeans have held up well. Eddie Bauer. that stuff lasts, even if its 'Des Moines 96' like the SP episode said. Hell, my BIL gave me like 6 Eddie Bauer shirts he was no longer wearing like 5 years ago and I still wear them, they are just now starting to fray abit and stuff. I also inherited his Nordstroms shirts which are exceptional. outlets are the way to shop as long as the merch don't look repulsive
  20. Canadian Driver looks good in black!
  21. it's hot seeing this thing everyday when i drive home. Lamborghini Gallardo what do you suppose they traded this in for at a Dodge / Chrysler Jeep dealer? 4 SRT's and a Caliber? and a Viper?
  22. well, was shopping again today. i think plasma has better picture for movies etc. LCD is still sharper but not much depth. the samsung and LG LCD's are good. only a handful of sets display 1080p. I might want blu-ray or HD DVD so i think i want that. the plasmas that are only 768 pixels high seem to have great pictures. i think i should wait.
  23. a sprawling of a bunch of car hating leftist urbanites, that's what
  24. oh yeah, that. um, well.........not gonna get into it but it was just an innocent deal. nothing of any shock value. still kinda cool.
