front -awful side-sort of like the new XL7 Honda has had some nasty styling lately.
  2. i dunno, the ones GM used in the Pontiacs, Buicks, Impalas, all nasty. It looked like some enlarged birth control device sitting on a couple chrome rods. The GP, Bonne, regal, Impala, all had em and they were the absolute epitome of cheap. the mits do look very POKEMON
  3. current impala incentive is like what...500 bucks? some deal.......
  4. wow. what sort of kool aid have you been drinking? you make the new Camlee sound like an A4 in terms of design. when i sat in the 07 Camlee at the autoshow, i was noticing just how many areas Toyotas decided to cut costs and skimp with cheap plastic inside and how derivitive and fat and chunky and dull the exterior was. And the only way to get the chassis rigid enough for them in the SE model is to get rid of the folding seat. LOL. The new camlee is ok, but by NO MEANS call it out as any sort of achievement in design or style. It's not.
  5. so Josh, anything new, you ball it yet den?

The current BU is too small, even if for some its right sized. It needs to be a physical clone of Camry in H/W/L. The big problem with most Epsilons are lack of real width. The current Impala is large in size, but lacks rear seat room and could use a bigger trunk. The Impala sorely needs repackaging.

yeah but for a Malibu its a HUGE improvement worth cheering about.
  8. your average greenie-nader only eats veggies anyways so that's what, 160 pounds on a humid day? i think the tundra CAN tow that..........
  9. GM has done plenty of the ugly donut headrests also. on like 10 different cars. at least these mitsubishi ones, you turn the seat over and can use it as a massage table and put your head facing into the donut.
  10. fuel or food, take your pick, we only have so much land
  11. great news for the SRX. can't wait to see the interior shots. 20 inchers ought to make the sides appear less bulky.

ok, then I bet its E85 CORN ON THE COB FOR ONE!
  13. jeez, the upper part of the dash is practically the same shape, even if the controls are laid out a bit different. OOH I BET THE LUMINAIRE NEVER HAD A NIGHT PANEL THO
  14. I heard an interesting record by the group called the SOUNDS. Very blondie/Donnaish, which I dig.
  15. c'mon Joe, CAMPAIGN DOLLARS! yet the Ford plant still goes away! What Tim-o should have done is fund the development for development of a new Ranger pickup....the state of Hockey should have foot the bill for the new Ranger..he tried to lure Ford with more ethanol subsidies but in the end Ford's pockets are getting greased more by wherever is building the next Ranger. My wife's hometown is in the process of building an ethanol plant. Folks around there think its the second coming....for sure, they can grow their own fuel for their fuel sucking chariots. Bet if I showed them the article, it'd piss many off. I've read plenty of the exact same type of stuff about ethanol before. My position on it these days is its good and bad. Its nice to diversify and give us another fuel option, but folks need to know that more about it right now is that its more a farm subsidy than anything. Folks are totally oblivious to how much $$$$ gets pumped into farm subsidies anyways so whatever. Note the graphic in the article....FIFTY PERCENT of our oil comes from WESTERN HEMISPHERE....NOT IRAQ WE SHOULD BE SUCKING UP TO OUR CANADIAN BUDDIES AND WHOA THOSE ILLEGALS FROM MEXICO CAN NEVER BE A BAD THING! when we can truly corral all the wind's and sun's power and turn it into electricity, that will be our best solution. Hydrogen has promise. Long term, FUSION / Nuclear will have to be discovered.

mm, what willl they be serving up for lunch? A nice tasty chicken cordon bleu sounds tasty right about now.
  17. or a boat. yeah, that'd be dandy. toyota's pickups historically can't tow fer sh1t, i doubt a prius could tow a greenie dragged across the pavement!

i hope this thing is not lacking in girth like the current Epsilon. Width does matter, and the current Epsilon just lacks it in a big way.
  19. regfootball replied to Chris_Doane's topic in Chevrolet
those pics are hot. the epsilon platform is not the only thing growing in size.......

I hate high beltlines. Claustrophobia. Otherwise, quite a nice looking car. I would drive that. The rear trunk lip and taillamp facade is a bit dated and theirs a bit too much tall mass in front of the front wheels, but if this is where GM is going design wise, I AIN'T BITCHING...I mean, look at the crapibu we have now!
  23. you Canuck? I have a Canuck buddy who breathes Tragically Hip. I went with him to a concert. I have no clue about their tunes, but i got tanked and had a great time and they seem like an awesome concert band.
