  1. another reason I am glad I got the 500 instead of the Fusion. It looks like the G6 would not have fared well without the SAB. notice how nothing is made of the Sonatas problems before the recall. How many other underengineered bits are on the Sonata? The Acura is no prize, huh. Of course the BMW is stoudt, it has subcompact room and weighs midsize. Lotsa structure!
  2. you'll never see corvettes or camaros made in Korea. But malibus and cavaliers and maybe even impalas and luminas...........
  3. HOLY F*CK. wow. that will be a lot of cash tossed out there..........
  4. my wife couldn't detect that this morning..............
  5. but the low end calibers are cheap with new engines and a great seating position. I would take one over a Vibe. maybe. I suppose my wife's old Omni had a nicer interior though.
  6. chevy in europe is daewoos. so it wouldnt surprise me to see the US get there eventually for its cars and small SUVs
  7. will George Clooney be drunk again? At the golden globes he was tanked and sizing up Mary hart on the red carpet like he was gonna drop her right there. And I'd bet she'd oblige in a heartbeat. NOW THAT WOULD BE ENTERTAINTMENT. wonder if we'll have any Oscar wardrobe malfunctions........
  8. does this mean I'm like 2% gay then?
  9. ford execs should be fired for not making this car happen here. FIRED! including BILL
  10. i really like the look of the Ion with the new 5 spokes....i like the 2.4 5sp combo, but I would like to see them drop in the DI turbo or even the SC one into the sedan.
  11. hey, maybe Buickman would accept a challenge and go seel Buicks in LA or maybe Seattle or something........
  12. I SERIOUSLY considered a quad coupe redline because of the rear doors. But ultimately i ended up getting something i thought had higher side impact safety ratings and a bigger backseat (500). The quad coupe is really nice though. The Ion redline and even the base Ions are FUN to drive. the plastic panels on the Ion are a nice thing, except they look sloppy. But trips to the grocery store are less stressful! The Ion sedan has a 2.4 ecotec/5 speed package, does the coupe get that too? Had I gone for the Ion, sedan, i would have insisted on the 2.4/5 speed. the Ion and Cobalts shifter is in the perfect spot, falls right into the hand.!
  13. saturn has a lean dealer network with great customer satisfaction. those two elements are why GM is pumping resources into it. that, and the fact that its easier to build a Saturn image rather than correct a Buick or Pontiac image.
  14. love the interior but i actually prefer the saturn concept exterior to the Aero x's.
  15. what's wrong with drinking alone?
  16. can't wait to see one at the AUTOSHOW this next weekend.......
  17. right. that too. I bet there is a sleeping giant part of the population that is not far from awakening....a very ANTI Japan sentiment.
  18. oh, I'd have no prob leasing a BMW for that very reason a few months before I got my aztek 18 months ago, i was choosing between getting a sedan or a family type vehicle for myself. I had the sedans narrowed down to the CTS and BMW3 on a lease of course. I had my GM card balance for the LDP on the CTS. I had the potential cash windfall on selling my SHO for the CD on the 3 series. In the end I decided to get the Aztek for my wife and then ended up with my Ford this year because it was lots cheaper to get into cashwise. The CTS with stick hadn't yet gotten the 3.6 so the 3.2 was my only option, but the only 3 series I could consider affording with a 325 without sport package. I thought the CTS was more fun to drive....point is in the end the 3 series free maintenance was a HUGE draw. It would have made it worth the money. Then when i got into my ford last fall it was tough to consider the CTS because i had no cash proceeds or no GM card rebate to tap into. Now the BMW is prohibitively expensive in all trims (new model). But I do see Gm is offering to top off my earnings. Too bad i'm in my 500 for about another 2 1/2 years.
  19. oh guys, you don't see this? CMON! this means GM will be selling all the Daewoos in the US now, not Suzuki! this clears the conflict to enable GM to start loading up the showrooms with all the cheap to build GMDAT product and not have to worry about having a same version of it in the Suzuki showrooms! in 5 years, half of chevy's lineup will be Daewoos now!
  20. I'd like it if the Mitsubishi Grandis could be had here with the stick.
  21. HEY NEITHER AM I! NOT AT ALL! for some reason I think ice skating (except for the men's) is OK

  23. if he's NOT gay, I don't have a clue how he can skate with her day in and day out 12 hours a day and not once liquored her up and tried to get her to do the sit/spin.
  24. blu, which side of the fence do you think Benny is on? On Leno, they both said they had other partners........
